Support. There's almost no use for Scratch blocks in either of those forums, and it would really cut down on spam.

Support for disabling them in Announcements, that sub-forum receives a lot of blockspam from users who have never used the forums before and wouldn't know all the rules. There is also really no practical use for them there, unless someone wrote a little message like:

I see a lot of posts like that that in Announcements, so it's a good idea to disable the Scratchblocks there.

As for the New Scratchers sub-forum, there are much less posts there than Announcements. There usually isn't too much blockspam there either. So I half-support for disabling them there. While I feel it's unnecessary for them to be used in New Scratchers, as they should use Help With Scripts if they need scripting help, they aren't spammed enough there that they have to be disabled. New Scratchers or Scratchers might want to use them there too, to write small messages. (but not testing or spamming them there, the official testing topic should be used for that.)

I would support disabling Scratchblocks in Announcements - not only for preventing lag but also because most people new to the forums don't realise blockspamming isn't okay and would later regret it (I mean - I'm pretty sure my first post was a blockspam on Announcements). However, I wouldn't support disabling it on New Scratchers currently as it isn't a major problem and I could see scenarios where they could be useful.

Support. It would reduce blockspam on “Announcements” and “New Scratchers” Forum, also, If they need help with a script, they could just simply head to the “Help with Scripts” Forum
