Onion Skins and Scratch
I hate to go too far offtopic (ironic That's not how closing works. ST wouldn't close any thread, let alone one that has survived for eight years, just because people starting going off-topic at one point. At most they would steer the conversation back to the original direction.) but the Transformations Extension suggestion was recently closed for a few hours due to unconstructiveness, but later in the day it was reopened I believe (or was it the day after?)
Please stop talking about my post ok? I just had an idea, I didn't mean for an argument to start, get back to the point.

Would work if you are making an animation editor inside of scratch.
The post is talking about an onion skin feature for the costume editor.
I just wanted to clear things up, so people won't make that mistake!

Exactly look at the stage while drawing. There is no need for this.create clone of [sprite v]

Looking at the stage while drawing isn't easy. Exactly look at the stage while drawing. There is no need for this.

That’s not exactly an easy thing to do. It isn’t a viable solution because what this topic is asking for is in the paint editor . Onion skinning is often used to trace bits and pieces of the previous frames for a number of techniques, which would be virtually impossible while looking at the stage, and that’s even if you’re able to draw while looking at the stage in the first place.Exactly look at the stage while drawing. There is no need for this.create clone of [sprite v]

That would be way too hard, how would you know where the drawing in the paint editor is if you're looking at the stage? That's basically the same as having NO onion skin.Exactly look at the stage while drawing. There is no need for this.create clone of [sprite v]
Combined withchange [ghost v] effect by (var)

This is a suggestion for Scratch. Yes, there are numerous outside sources that allow you to use onion skinning in the Scratch Editor, but the vast majority of people don't know about these or aren't able to run them. turbowarp.org already has a feature like this
