How would this work?
You haven't really gone into much detail.

And all the world over, each nation's the same,
They've simply no notion of playing the game.
They argue with umpires, they cheer when they've won,
And they practice beforehand, which ruins the fun!

So it will make the two sprites one sprite?

Note that most of my posts on the forums are from years ago, probably mainly in 2016.

(Unsolved!) How can you see all the shared projects of a deleted account? And some important context. And something else about it.
Please help me answer that question. (From May 2023)

(I know I may seem desperate, the person who owned the account whose projects I am trying to find had been doing some stuff that might need to get taken down)

You can make the two sprites glide to each other, then use the “ghost effect” to make them slowly disappear at the same time. Meanwhile, a third sprite will also use the “ghost effect” to slowly show.

Unless you give better details on what you want this to do, no support.

How is this feature supposed to work, and what would it be useful for?

Would this be

A) Putting in the costumes, scripts, and sounds individually?
I wanted to demonstrate, but I'm on my tablet, so have this instead.

B) Loading the scripts individually, the costumes as one costume, and sounds individually?

or C) Having options whether you want something individual or not
I'll create a mock-up for this later

the 2 sprite collide into each other and their costumes merge into one costume until the stop flag is clicked

Couldn't you just use a broadcast or something similar to get the two sprites to collide and have the same reactions? Also, in what situations would this be used for?

I don't see a purpose for this block, as all workarounds are very easy.

Here's a problem:
Script in sprite 1
when green flag clicked
forever
go to x: (-100) y: (0)

Script in sprite 2
when green flag clicked
forever
go to x: (100) y: (0)

Both of these sprites have point costumes.
What happens when you do this?
merge [sprite1 v] with [sprite2 v] ::looks
How can two sprites be one sprite when they're at different places?

And they practice beforehand, which ruins the fun!

I think that moderating scripts when two sprites are merged is a bit confusional. You can just use @TheRealNetherBefore's workaround, no support.
