hi there. I'm looking to “hire” a crew or individual to take on a larger project that requires someone who has medium-advanced coding experience. I need them to rework some of the codings I've already done but don't have the time to, and perhaps make renovations to upgrade my system in ways I might not be able too. for this good sized project what one of your shops should I go to? Maybe create a section where all unclaimed orders from all shops go and anyone can take them? Also, maybe create a section for shops that really need members so people can easily find shops to easily apply to.

We attempted this through a system called ISOOC, but it was disbanded after inactivity. I would like to see a variant of this back in use!

There were also concerns about "order sovereignty" (the independence of shops from each other and their ability to take their own orders.)

You first need a shop on scratch. You need to first read how to make a shop and shop guides here. The USS is a federation that, in general, helps shops and keeps them active.

We are looking forward to creating a library, or collection of community-created images, scripts, sounds, and more as part of our pre-made item library! Anyone can stop by and use stuff from this library.

We accept the following entries:
- Thumbnail art (project, profile picture, or studio form)
- Sounds (in Scratch-accepted format)
- Scratch scripts
- BBCode templates
- More! (Just ask!)

III. Inter-shop advertising
Volunteers: GrahamSH
We plan on introducing a policy/standard in which members are encouraged to partner with each other, and share requests.

To help gain activity in another shop (or your own), we plan on pushing inter-shop advertising, partnerships, and other forms of connections.

XCat has helped propose a “Similar Shops in the USS”-like section for shops. Development of that is under way.

IV. Revival of the representatives-by-population rule
Volunteers: GrahamSH, FloatingMuffins
A while back, shops were able to have a number of representatives based on their size. This was scrapped at a limit of two around February this year. We will re-integrate the older method of representation sometime by 2019.

V. USS Newspaper

Just in! A USS newspaper is under works of being started! As suggested by monkeytrooper and FloatingMuffins, the newspaper will include a featured shop, employee of the week, news in the USS, each shop, and polls!
