(This is my add-on to this section) Hey ST. I was thinking about how sometimes I needed to demote managers to curators, since they were abusing their power. But I could only remove them, so I had to remove them and invite them back. I have seen this happen many times with studios, and could you make it so you can demote managers? If this would be kind of hard to do, I have a suggestion. The owner is the only one who can demote managers. So, like, you would have 4 levels in a studio.

1. A visitor. They are not curating it. (Not listed in a studios curator section)
   
2. A curator. (Same as a curator in scratch right now)
   
3. A manager. (Same as a manager in scratch right now)
   
4. An owner. They made the studio, and can do everything a manager can, but they can demote people that are a manager to a curator.
   

This would help if someone was abusing their manager powers. This way, they could just be demoted into a curator, and then, they could still participate. Even though this already exists, by removing and inviting a manager back, this would be easier. Because I have seen some people get ‘demoted’ and miss the invite back in their messages, and they get ignored. Some people might disagree with this, because it would make things unfair to managers. But the owner would be in the manager section. So that way, people wouldn't feel like they aren't important. I have not seen this suggestion yet, and it would be a wonderful addition to scratch. So, I hope you consider this. Thank you in advance.

Yeah, I kind of agree. If I want to demote someone, I'm going to have to delete him/her and re-invite him/her. It sounds like a very good idea and I can't wait for it!

There's no time limit on Suggestion topics, so long as they are still relevant. So it's not considered necroposting

And technically they weren't necroposting, it hasn't been 2 months

I know that in a lot of cases I've found that if I make someone a manager, people either abuse their powers and troll or promote/invite people I don't want into the studio. I don't want to have to delete people completely, so demoting them would be extremely useful. Maybe they could put it right next to the button that usually says promote? Or possibly you could set a sort of guideline- for example, "If (insert scratcher here) edits the description/title of the studio (insert studio here) they will be demoted from manager to curator. Kind a weird idea, but you never know.

Very much support, in friend groups, one of my friends could be changing the desk a lot to funny things and the jokes getting old and is becoming annoying and i don't wanna delete them because i would need to reinvite them and thats annoying, so a demote button would ROCK
