I don't think it should be in the account settings, I think a toggle in the project is better, as you don't want to have to open more tabs just to enable dark mode.

My favorite addon in scratch browser extension. It need to be offical.

Support! Honestly, I don't understand why it hasn't been implemented yet.
It's always nice to have at night; it would make the site so much easier on the eyes. I also get migraines, which make brightness all the more physically painful. It's an important accessability feature, especially important to have for people with sensory issues (which are especially common in neurodivergent people).
As I write this, I have my screen brightness turned all the way down. It is far down enough that it makes it harder to see anything, but if I turn it up brighter it is more painful to look at. All the sites that do have dark mode are so much easier on my eyes (and don't worsen my migraines as much), and don't require me to turn my brightness all the way down, making them easier to see.
And it couldn't be too hard to add, with the Scratch Team's expertise and resources. If TurboWarp has it (as well as so many other unrelated sites), it's clearly doable.

scratch has been focusing on the colors for the colorblind community so maybe thats why
