Hi! Here's some ideas…

-Traveling faster than the speed of light?
-Big Bang Theory?
-Quasars, pulsars, black holes, and supernovas
I'm not sure if I'm on the right track or not. Is this sort of like a documentary with conspiracy theories (or other theories) and stuff?

Those we GREAT ideas!!! We'l definitely have to do an episode exploring them.
It's sort of like a documentary on everything, really. Providing theories, inventing our own and so much more. We don't even have to provide answers to some questions- the idea really is to broaden the minds of the viewers, get them thinking big, and get them asking those questions themselves. All those ideas are great for this!!!!
OMG I love those sorts of documentaries!!!! I used to always watch them.. XD Some of the theories sounded pretty weird at first, but then the narrator talks you through and can get you to believe the weirdest theories. XD
YESSSSSS!!! IKR? This will be a lot like that, but we can choose what we find interesting and do an episode on it!!
AHHH Well, I heard a theory about the speed of light (almost said seed of light.. >.<) which suggests that if you travel faster than the speed of light you can travel back in time. (I sort of doubt it though…)
Hey, that's an interesting theory! Definitely something that we could mention. The thing we can do with such theories, proven or not, is try to prove them, then try to disprove them, then try to prove them again, Steven Hawking style. XD XD
I think that that theory was mentioned on @ClearMonocle's project already.
I could make music as well… Could I be a Musician?

I think you mean that if you go faster than the speed of light you can travel to the future. As far as we know, going back in time is impossible, because physics and time just don't work like that. You can't revisit something that's already happened.

Also, based on what we know, you can't go at light speed anyway unless you have 0 mass, (photons don't have mass) which I guess means to go faster than light you'd have to have negative mass… which makes no sense.

Sorry for crushing your dreams (JK). I'm such a nerd. XD XD

(It's fine, it wasn't my dream anyway. XD) That's true, but who knows? People are still exploring how to travel faster than the speed of light, etc. etc. The future holds many possibilities. (As am I!) Besides, there /is/ something that can travel faster than the speed of sound, but then again, the speed of sound isn't very fast compared to light.

Interesting! Good debating! We can go about this Cosmos style, and explore it anyway since our narrator travels in a ship of imagination. XD I think that this is actually a really good way to lead into an episode about time travel, actually.

Have you read The Universe in your Hand by Christophe Galfard, by any chance? Galfard was Stephen Hawking's graduate student from 2000-2006, and he researched the black hole information paradox. >^3^< Anyway, it's a really, really, good book, and it basically explains quantum mechanics, black holes, outer space in general, etc. in a way that humans of normal intelligence level can understand. XD XD

Adding on to the speed of light debate: You actually probably can go faster than the speed of light, provided that you were pushed by a force going much much faster than the speed of light. Then, it can overcome all the drag and friction and all the other forces. You will then be going at the speed of light, but not forever. You will eventually slow down due to drag and [insert an odd force here[ and so you will slow down to a halt. You could go almost at the speed of light, though, by hitching on to something going almost at the speed of light. Like a comet. Ever heard of the person whose spaceship got hooked to a comet going really fast and got stuck to it for years? I think I've got the article in my Knowledge issue 2 or something

Ooh, maybe we could do a sort of pleasing flat design style for the animations? I'm thinking kind of along the lines of something a bit like the YouTube channel “Kurzgesagt — In a Nutshell.” ( https://www.youtube.com/user/Kurzgesagt ) It explains lots of science mysteries, with no particular theme, although they do a lot of space stuff. ^o^

Just throwing some random suggestions out there. ;D

Oh possibly! That's definitely one of the styles I was considering. I'm thinking that we'l have two styles:
One style that's mostly realistic, which will be used for the narrator and other scenes set in the modern-un-theoretical world. (And for scenes inside the ship)
Then a second style for scenes inside the world of theory and possibility, in the future and past. We can occasionally have the narrator come walking through these scenes in the first style as she explains it.

Hmm… is the odd force inertia? Are comets the speed of light? I'm not too sure on that one because if they were scientists probably would've already figured it out. Then again, there are a lot of things we don't know.

Oh yes!! We should consider that because it'll be easier to draw than realistic space images. It's also clear, simple, and sweet!

Okie first thing we need to work on as well as the second thing:

1) We need to design the intro to the show! How do we want it to look, will there be any narration, what will we show in it? Remember that this intro is what will be seen on each episode we produce, like on real TV shows!

2) Lets plan out exactly what we're going to talk about in episode 1 and it's themes; What questions we're going to ask and which one's we're going to answer; which ideas we're going to present and how we're going to manage them.

Template for a Template:
Introduction of theme: (I'm thinking about having this scene of a silhouette of the narrator sitting in a char, inside the ship looking out into space, talking about the topic that we choose. We'd rotate camera a few times to keep it interesting, then it would fade into the intro.)
The intro:
Diving right into the theme:
Asking some questions:
The Steven-Hawking-Theory-Style *Sandwhich(s)*:
A historical scene related to the topic:
Answering some questions with more questions:
The ending; Leaving the viewer with something to ponder about:
