Hi everyone. How fast do you type? I typing an average of 80 words per minute. If you don't know how fast you type, you can search typing test and find out! I love typing and that's why I posted this. I learned to type at Nitro Type which you can search on Google if you want to become a fast typist. You can search caleb2002 on your friends page on nitro type and see my profile which is quite impressive. Nitro type is great, I really love it!!!
EDIT: Okay, it's crazy looking back at this post I still play Nitro Type after all these years and am getting close to having a consistent 120 WPM average typing speed Cheers!

For me it's in the 60s and low 70s.

Whilst it often depends on what I'm typing, its often 50-60 wpm when typing requires mostly the left of the keyboard, 40-50 wpm when typing with mostly letters found on the right. My typing style, which i made myself is probably responsible for this. I once joked about the speed that I type at (as most students in my class are only 20-30 wpm) by setting my wallpaper to a picture of Sanic using a computer. No one understood it though. Shame.

I can type pretty fast with out correctinf anything but ti turns out bad as shown here, there';s too many errors

Probably 130 a minute for me. I'm an extremely fast typer, and use only two fingers. If I go full throttle I will make typos though.

I find that hard to believe. Have you done an actual test?

Despite the fact that I spend almost all of my spare time behind a keyboard, my typing speed is only about 45wpm. I never learnt how to touch type properly, so my technique is just an adaptation of hunt-and-peck where I use whichever finger is closest - although I only have to look at the keyboard about once per word, when my fingers drift from where I expect them to be.

That's impossible for only two fingers. Though someone can typing average of 175 words per minute. You can take the typing test to find out.

That's fairly fast. BTW Your animation for your name (I don't know what it's called) is really cool. It's fun to look at!

In reality, though, I'm probably about 50% or 75% efficient because most of my typing is forum posts, coding, or essays, meaning I never know exactly what I want to write.

I got around 90 words a minute when I took that typing test (10fastfingers?). But only if I'm using my own laptop (with its small keyboard and everything). I'm using the family computer right now, and I'm typing sloooowly because my hands are not used to this big keyboard The weird thing is, I type English faster than Indonesian. Probably because the Indonesian words given to me are looong, looong, loooooong.

I'm not sure how fast I am, but I'm a faster typer than everyone else in my class other than the teacher.

Ok, I didn't see the link there. I'm using IE so I can't see the screen shot, how fast did you get.

Not bad. That's about average in my class, which is around 18-32 words per minute. Then, there are a couple of fast typers at probably ~35-45. Above that is a gap, then me and my teacher. I got in the high-50s/low-60s.
