Have USB controllers added to extensions
(#2681)We make a project on github, test everything, find all the bugs, make it look pretty, and submit it to be added to Scratch Labs after it's all finished!
How do we put this in scratch? (by ourselves?)
like the code?

I'm not 100% sure how, but we make the code ourselves somewhere else, then beg the Scratch Team to add our code to Scratch. How do we put this in scratch? (by ourselves?)

Sonic SaysHey there, I'm sonic__fan. I just look for good suggestions to add to Scratch.

Plenty of mods already exist that add controller support, so all we gotta do is make compatible with the Scratch website, and then submit it to the Scratch Team.Who's going to do all of that coding or is it already being worked on?I'm not 100% sure how, but we make the code ourselves somewhere else, then beg the Scratch Team to add our code to Scratch. (#2678)Do you mean on the Switch itself? That has already been rejected.
(long unnecessary quote removed by moderator - please don't spam)
Add scratch to the nintendo…
The Scratch Team does not have the resources to put a Scratch editor onto a video game console. This includes making a Scratch editor for Nintendo, Xbox, and Playstation consoles.

Great. Helpful article on how this works in websites: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/USBLet's do that(#2681)We make a project on github, test everything, find all the bugs, make it look pretty, and submit it to be added to Scratch Labs after it's all finished!

This would be really useful, I support. Unfortunately, as of time of writing, only Chrome and Edge support the Web USB API, so the technologies used for this have very little support and will not work cross-browser.

The devs really need to update the scratch-gui repo- I'm getting at least 19 “npm warn deprecated” warnings whenever I try to install its dependencies, and yes, I'm using the latest version of node.js and npm. Then again, the dev page on this website and the wiki in the repo still refer to Scratch 3.0 in beta, and link the current website as an example of 2.0.

Wait, submit it to Scratch Labs? That's one extra step I wasn't aware about — Scratch Labs blocks never get added tbh, the ones that exist have been here for 3 years and still haven't been added

The only one that that was implemented was the “color contrast blocks”, but the Scratch Team didn't seem to check the contrast of categories to other categories when making that and there is supposed to be a dark mode option: Wait, submit it to Scratch Labs? Fun_Cupcake_i81: What, were you expecting not to see the utc - 12 thing again? THE UTC - 12 THIGN ALWAYS RETURNS. ALWAYS.
medians: I knew it would happen. I was the one who started it last year.
Fun_Cupcake_i81: Well then if you didn't want it back maybe you need to time travel to last year and fix that
Oh wait if you could time travel I think we all know exactly when you would go-
