The Informal and Unofficial List of Rejected Suggestions
I believe we can add the “remove manager limit” to the list as I asked (I will provide the original question if neccasary) Contact Us and I got this response:
Hi,(EDIT: This is from June 18th because I was on break but I doubt they changed their mind.)
Thanks for reaching out. We are not planning on removing the manager restriction, so I believe it can count as a rejected suggestion.
Thanks,

The Informal and Unofficial List of Rejected Suggestions
A few weeks ago, I stated (say, here and here) that at some point I will deep-clean (proofread) the list and split Section 7 into two sections based on community changes vs. website changes. I am going to try to do this today — but of course it could take a while, perhaps longer than I am expecting, so we'll see what happens.
In the meantime, I've asked a Scratch Team member for confirmation; we'll see what they say.
In the future it would be helpful to include a link or description of where this quote can be found so that I can find it for myself. For now I was able to find it — it is on @algorithmar's profile. Regardless, I don't think that this is an indication of rejection. If an option really was rejected, a Scratch Team member would have explicitly indicated this on the relevant suggestion.Right, this is not rejected. The main topic for this suggestion will just be closed for a while. That doesn't mean it's rejected, though. An option to adjust the color from purple back to blue will not be available.
This is the code you can use to copy rejection 2.3Thanks, it seems to work — but I'm not sure that I need it. Is there a reason why you have posted this?
-snip-
Do you think that you could mention that this topic is temporarily closed in 7.14?I don't see a point in it. Those who are curious why it's closed can read @cheddargirl's closing post. If somebody sees my description stating that it's closed, they might be inclined to not even look at the OP's suggestion in the first place.
You should add theI'm inclined to add this — @Paddle2See appears adamant that this is rejected. Does anyone else have strong feelings about this?jump to [code v]::controlblock. This block would set make the script start reading make scratch start reading from a different point in the code, specified by a different ‘pointer’ block. Proof that it is rejected is here.
Also, after searching for a bit, I've found that there are at least 5 different instances of someone suggesting this block or something similar.

Do you think this topic should be included with 3.3?I have been extremely back-and-forth with including “ban certain franchises” on this list for many years. It only gets worse with the whole Squid Game thing. Anyway, to answer your question, I don't think so. If the Scratch Team does not want anyone to reference Squid Game on Scratch, I do not find it appropriate to mention it or link to a topic discussing it on the main list.
for 2.2 I would recommend adding makecode arcade, another great block based programming language with having the option to convert to text based languages in JavaScript and python.Cool idea! I'll add it.

Hello, Contact-Us handler! I'd asked Za-Chary in a conversation on if he could provide where raising the manager limit was rejected, as I couldn't find it in The Official List of Rejected Suggestions - (The conversation in question can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/users/Za-Chary/#comments-277146677 ) Is the post linked by Za-Chary counting as rejection or is it just because the dupelicate quote was said above? As for whether or not to add it: who has thoughts on this? Could someone provide recent topics where increasing the manager limit was suggested? It would be nice if such topics were closed due to being rejected. That way we might also get a Scratch Team member explaining why the suggestion is rejected — this gives us (1) a clear and official endorsement from a Scratch Team member stating that it is rejected, for the Contact Us message was posted by a Scratcher, with the responder's name removed, so it's not unambiguously a Scratch Team member's response (even though I do trust @Zydrolic), and (2) an explanation of why the suggestion is rejected, which the Contact Us message does not seem to explain.
In the meantime, I've asked a Scratch Team member for confirmation; we'll see what they say.

(#7588)I kinda fear sharing a screenshot like this considering I probably didnt see something I should've censored but here, {removed}(cant find if they have a Scratch account or not…) told this. Felt like it'd be rude to call by name(Still feel like so, so I might censor the name.)

I'll probably remove this sometime because I feel like I shouldn't be telling their name at all as it invades their privacy…
EDIT: The image was a screenshot of this post I think, although files arent pasted as an attachment over into the message.
EDIT2: Za-Chary has seen this so I removed the name and the image.

The Informal and Unofficial List of Rejected Suggestions
This is a closed one, although it’s from two years ago.I'm inclined to add this — @Paddle2See appears adamant that this is rejected. Does anyone else have strong feelings about this?I would - seems suggested enough, after all.As for whether or not to add it: who has thoughts on this? The Contact-Us response just said that removing the limit altogether was rejected, it never actually mentioned raising the manager limit is rejected.Could someone provide recent topics where increasing the manager limit was suggested?Sure:
scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/686168/
scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/527173/
I could only find these topics, and none of these are closed. I guessed this one will have to remain unsolved.

Wait. so why was the Scrolling (stage) block removed?
If we had them. I bet that would be cool! But i don't think they will come back.

I’m just wondering: Why is “ban a certain franchise” on this list if there are some franchises that are completely banned?

@chaddargirl just said that users will not be able to choose custom colours or any colours that are hard to see for the colourblind. Anyways, she also posted some things comparing colour choices to packs of crayons (which is a bad analogy, because if everyone could choose 4 custom colours it would take up only 12 bytes per user).
Text bolded by me.

Yeah, I’m not sure why it got reopened, I’ve reclosed it.However, @cheddargirl said that this wasn't supposed to be reopened for a couple of months.I think it might’ve been re-opened by mistake, but while we have the chance we should discuss details about the possible change (before it’s closed again)
The last viable discussion point had a mock-up for a limited color palette; you can take a few months off to think about limited alternative colors as a good point for next discussion. Obviously no old Scratch blue or choices based on aesthetics - your choices will need to have the visually-impaired in mind.
Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.

2.3 Set the editor to look like older versions of Scratch
Some users prefer the look and feel of the Scratch 1.4 and 2.0 editors, and have suggested an option to make the editor look like Scratch 1.4 or 2.0, but still run off of HTML5 like Scratch 3.0 does. However, this would be more complicated for educational and documentation purposes. It could be confusing if someone is trying to learn Scratch from someone who is using a completely different layout of the editor than them.
In addition, the Scratch Team changed the design for a reason: to make it easier, more intuitive, and friendlier for newcomers to use. If you dislike the Scratch 3.0 editor, you can still download the Scratch 1.4 or Scratch 2.0 offline editors.

Reports are intended to be anonymous. With this suggestion, drama could be started if a user sees that another user reported their project. Some may even retaliate by reporting their projects in return (whether or not the projects deserved to be reported). This includes the ability to see who reported your comments, profile, studio, or forum posts.

7.14 Revert the purple color palette back to blue
The specific color of purple was chosen as a practical one, as the Scratch Team determined through research that it is the color which is the most helpful for those with vision impairments. That is, the color change is important for the sake of improved accessibility, which means that more people will be able to use Scratch. For more information on the Scratch Team's process that led to the purple color palette, see this post.
However, an option to customize the color palette is NOT rejected; you can discuss it on this topic.

9.6 Polls in the forums
Some Scratchers have suggested optional polls that could be implemented into forum threads so users can vote on a particular suggestion, state that they experience the same glitch as someone else, or for other reasons. However, the Scratch Team is less interested in polling results and more interested in constructive posts on the forums. Although polls could theoretically reduce the number of unconstructive posts, they likely would not help Scratchers think constructively and write constructive posts. This suggestion includes polls that Scratchers can create themselves, as well as pre-made polls.

using the(Offtopic)<pointing towards [sprite v] :: sensing>can just be this code<(direction) = ([direction v] of [Sprite v])>
It doesn't quite work that way, because the example you gave only checks if the sprite is pointing the same direction as the other sprite. If the two sprites were standing on top of each other, and both facing left, your example would say “true” even though they're both exactly parallel to each other.
