WEEKLY No. 1 : LETTERS FROM THE SCRIPT GODDESS

TOTAL WC: 1570

Dearest Deliah of Dystopian,

I hope this letter reaches you safely, as I see that the celestials in this realm do not seem to welcome you to this eerie place. It seems like a place full of mystery and wonder, with so much yet to discover, however I am afraid that you might be being treated unwell. I worry for you, yet I am also filled with excitement for you, and hope that you will get back to me soon. How I wish I were there to both join you and protect you! I pray that your journey is safe and that all goes well with you.

Many regards,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Fidelity of Fantasy,

I’ve heard of your wonderful adventures and I wish you all the best. What a wonderful place must be the Steampunk Sanctuary, with all its creatures and curious technology. I truly must admit, I am envious of your mission. However, I am also worried for you- I hope that you can save the creatures before your time runs out, and I wish you all the best in your journey. Take care in your paths, and be kind to those who wish to aid you- yet cautious as well. Be quick yet collected, organized yet ready to jump at a moment’s notice, for you never know where your journey will lead you.

All the best,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Markham of Mystery,

As you are on a train, I sincerely hope with all my heart that this letter will be able to reach you. I see you are part of a bit of a mystery- one full of suspense and secrets. Your adventure sounds exciting, yet you must know to tread carefully- as I advised a member of your neutral cabin (Fantasy), you do not know what lies ahead. You may be pitted against people you would not expect. You may discover secrets you were not ready to discover. And I pray and hope that all goes well, that no matter what occurs, you are still strong. Be safe.

Hoping,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Hamlet of Horror,

I see you are the chosen one who is aiding the ghost in his quest for revenge. I see that you now trust him and that you have become his friend. He is witty, he is genius, and so are you. You know what you are doing, I hope, just as I hope that you have chosen the correct path. Your choices are your own, but be warned that hardships will come to those who seek revenge. You thirst for something you cannot have unless you sacrifice something of yourself, I hope you know. Or perhaps I’m wrong, and everything you’ve done is correct. That’s up to you to decide.

Farewells,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Finley of Folklore,

I see that your adventures have brought you to a strange place, filled with curious people. Though I do not know much about where you are, I hope that you find your way out- should that be your desire. As you learn more about the place you are staying, I hope that you will write to me. Writing to me will not take much, as you simply need to write a letter, and then wish- yes, simple as that- wish that it will arrive to me. As the Script Goddess, I can grant the small wishes- the wishes, even, that pertain to myself. Shall you have any queries for me, I shall do my best to grant the wish of a response. Be safe, and be careful.

Lovingly,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Stellar of Sci-fI

I see that your name matches your dimension. How curious. That aside, I see that you have been trapped in the metaverse. Though it seems a world of wonder, I can understand your desire to escape. While I would grant this wish if I were able, I cannot, as it is too big. Only the smallest of wishes work from me, and for that I apologize. I can only hope that you remain safe there, and that your adventure proves exciting until it comes time to escape. Be safe and learn as much as you can in your travels!

Best wishes,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Brickham of Bi-Fi

Well, this seems to be a popular theme, doesn’t it? Trapped in a world that is not your own? Apologies for the lack of context- I’ve spoken to select campers in other cabins and have learned all about their storylines. It seems that the SWC Multiverse is quite chaotic this session, yet full of adventure. I hope that you personally will be safe, and will learn who you can trust. Though yours is a universe I do not know much about, I know one thing: You must be careful. It is a rule I have given to many of the other campers, and now it is your turn to hear it. So be. Careful.

Write me soon,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Rhea of Real-Fi

I hope that your journey to collect the keys needed to explore has gone well. I know that this inn holds secrets and curious wonders, and I do know that you are capable of discovering them all. Be safe here, and do as much as you can as quickly as you can. I wish you all the best, for the inn seems eerie, even to me- but I know you can do this. I believe in you, and all those who are with you. I believe that you have the wit and the knowledge- and the typing speed- to unlock every door.

Best regards,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Avonlea of Adventure

I see that you have been pitted into a battle, into a war. Wars are dangerous, wars yield injury and pain, but I believe in you. I believe that you can conquer. I believe that you are strong and powerful as you have always been. You must bring the courage to your fellow campers that I cannot bring. Yours is a noble cause. Vanquish your foes, the monsters, and bring back unity and peace once again. I believe in you.

Be safe,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Tharo of Thriller

I wish you all the best as you, crazy as you are, continuously deep dive, though you do risk being trapped under the water. I know that you have it in you. Do not fear the creatures that lurk in the deepest recesses of the sea, for, though some may be able to hurt you, some are also able to be your friend. You are strong and brave and, as I mentioned before, quite crazy. This is why you can do it. Be kind to those around you, those aiding you, those going with you, and learn from your mistakes.

Kindly,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Fiona of Fan-Fi

I see that you have been tasked with keeping Earth’s books safe. A noble journey, I assure you, for it would be quite a shame were they to ever be touched by dangerous hands. Small wishes I grant you on your journey- the power to complete that daily and gain all those points you hold dear. You follow a noble cause, and I wish, in all honesty, that I could be a part of something so grand and amazing. Books are our history, our escape. And I thank you for keeping them safe. All of them.

Keep fighting,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Henry of Hi-Fi

I see that the mischievous side of you has been brought out by the bandits! Whatever your cause, I hope you know what you’re doing. And I am honestly thankful that you decided to rob Poetry first. (The only wishes I cannot grant by song are those of my own- and one of them is that you do not chose to rob us!) However, whenever you come for us, I am prepared to see how well you’ve prepared. All the best in your journeys of mischief and adventure, dearest. I grant you the wish of completing your daily so you may gain more spades.

Regards,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Naomi of Naan-Fi

I see you are among one of the calmer universes in the SWC multiverse, and for that I am thankful. I have no fear that this letter will reach you, unlike some of your multiverse companions. Yours is a calm story, and I wish you all the best in your lovely Naan-Fi Breadhouse! Truly a gorgeous place, with wonderful staff! Treat your fellow campers well, and, as the month progresses, I shall be sure to send you more letters and update all of you once again! I grant you the small wish of a feeling of serenity, for it is easy where you are.

All the best,
The Script Goddess

Dearest Petra of Poetry

I see you’ve been assigned to a challenge! I have full confidence that you can do this, that you can win! You’ve got all the writing mastery it takes! Get out there and get going, and don’t forget to encourage your fellow campers! I grant you the small wish for strength to complete the daily- and, there you go! It’s not cheating. I do it for everyone. Have a wonderful rest of your camp! I’m afraid I’m out of time for these letters- Erik needs something. Again.

Many regards and well wishes,
The Script Goddess

LETS GET STARTED

PREVIOUSLY— https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/6718123/
please read this! This is a fanfiction I made for another daily, and I want to continue it here!

Previously- Leo and I ran from the screaming Piper, the annoyed Percy, The horrified Nico, The confused Jason, The laughing Annabeth, The innocent Frank, and the smiling Hazel. We ran to the woods, then our treehouse, and we sat there, giggling uncontrollably and gasping for breath, still in our costumes.

And that night had been the most exciting night of my life since it was the first time I had ever felt something so fluttery in my stomach.

I didn't want to be a half-blood.

I wheezed, gasping for breath. Percy was showing me what the community had written for him, and the first lines were exquisite. Percy sat next to me, his arms crossed, laughing as well. We were the only ones in the Poseidon cabin. I was pretty sure he didn't want to come to my house; Hades cabin, so I just invited myself over here.
Hazel walked in. ‘What’s happening?' I quickly sat up and waved my hand, and asked her to come to see this book.

A FEW MINUTES LATER…

'Hey, what's going on?!'
Leo was hooked at seeing us all laughing without us. Frank had tears in his eyes, while Piper was doubling over. Percy himself was cracking up, and way worse than the others.
'You're laughing without me!!' Leo huffed and picked the book from my hand.

A FEW MINUTES/HOURS LATER…

Leo was on his back on the floor, giggling uncontrollably. Percy was waving his hand sideways, trying to tell us to stop, but laughing himself. I had never seen Annabeth so red in the face.
'What do they describe me a-as?' she giggled out. “ athletic and having curly blond hair like a princess's, tan skin, and stormy gray eyes.” She fell to the ground on her knees. ‘And first seaweed brain calls me ’cute' but then ‘seriously beautiful.’
We all started to laugh so loudly that Chiron came into the Poseidon cabin, and reminded us it was 1 AM.
Wait, it was 1 AM?!!
I ran to the Hades cabin, only to be pulled in the middle of the road by Leo. ‘YOU DARE LEAVE ME BEHIND.’ he whined, and I rolled my eyes. I turned slack and got flung backward.
Leo was looking at me, fake sad. ‘How could you joke without me?’ he asked. He crossed his arms. ‘You’re so mean.'
'Awwwww' I teased. ‘Is little Leo jeawous?’
Leo suddenly smirked and picked me up from the legs, hanging me upside down.
I shrieked. ‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!’
Leo carried me like that the whole way to the lake and I widened my eyes, finally realizing what he was going to do.
'no no no no no NONO LEO-'

And I got thrown into the lake, Leo jumping in behind me.

Weekly 1, not done <3

Dear Hi-Fi Factory,
We are disappointed to let you know that your newest order for three hundred mango stickers will have to be delayed. In case you didn't know, our factories are located in Florida, in the United States. And as you might know (it's been on the news!), hurricane Ian has recently hit right around our factories. Thankfully, it missed us, but we had to shut down for a while. We were able to get about two-thirds (2/3) of your order done, so would you like us to send the 200 stickers or wait for about two more weeks and finish the order?
Yours,
The Charmanee Factory

Dear Na'an Fi Bakery,
One of my workers has recently bought some of your many loaves to work. After sharing it with all of us, we took a poll, and it turns out, your breads have been some of the best my workers have tried in YEARS. Years! That's a heck of a long time. We are just sending this letter to say thank you for the amazing breads, even if all you did was sell them. As we wanted to buy three dozen sandwiches of yours, we were wondering, is there a place we can place such a large order?
Yours truly,
The Charmanee Factory

Hello our dearest Fanfiction website,
We recently heard that you're amazing website has been searching for a factory to create your books. We have recently openned a book sector, and were wondering if we could work together? We'd be honored, and, as our prices are pretty cheap, we have the idea it would work for you as a new budding business. We hope that business will continue blooming even if you don't except our offer - my daughters have been quite caught up on their phones using the app lately -, and have a good day! Cheers.
Yours truly,
The Charmanee Factory

November SWC Weekly #1

My Dearest Adi(venture!),
Hey my sis! How’s it going over at your cabin? I still can’t believe we got accepted into this writing camp Mother signed us up for — your name even matches your cabin, Adventure. It's really cool! Am I a bit jelly-jel? Maybe.
How was your sorting test? My questions were so easy — of course reading long novels is boring! No offense, Adi. You are a bit boring sometimes (admit it!), like when you started writing your will? What was up with that? Maybe that was why I was sorted into Poetry; poetry, Elodie. Rhymes, and, is like my cabin, like, Adi, “Adventure”. Or I’m ranting again. Tell me, will you?
The food — the variety! It’s like Mother doesn’t understand the word “spices”. Her food is bland, I’ll say that in the least!
And how does it feel to be in the losing cabin? We’ll win, for sure!
I know I sort of hid my adventurous and brash side (what? I’ll admit it, you know) but letter writing seems more elegant, no need to bring my problems in. But I’ll ask anyway, I’m dying to know: Would you like to join me in the forest one night?

Kisses,
Elodie Poem Charmanee

Dear Fantasy,
How does it feel to *finally* be in first place? Without a tie (as a camper of your very own said?) /jk. Love ya anyways, Fantasy. Now because you’ve got the whole fantasy “genre” thing going on, I have a question for you— can thestrals see themselves? Can they see each other? From Harry Potter, you know. Do you know the answer? Everyone tells me I’m an idiot for asking but oh well. Life has some weird questions.
Anyways, we’ve got Viara this session! Guess what that means? That’s right, we’ll lead in arson :>
Love ya ever and ever dear allies,
Elodie Poem Charmanee

Dystopiaaaa!
Hey wow I’m weird, aren’t I? Well my lovely (/j) dystopian cabin, join us for another session of SWC! I hope everyone knows what that means — arson and mangoes yay ;> I’ve been writing to much, *dramatic pose* I shall not let myself be defeated by the thing that calls itself my end, Death! *bows* Everyone well over there? Dystopian. Fantasy. Will. Always. Prevail. Yayyy.
We all know how Adi gets when I start going crazy! Let’s bring the crazy out in her <3 Meet me in the forest — the Ongnam Clearing — in two days, okay? Be ThErE gOt Me?!

Wishful allies,
Elodie-goatie

Dear Folklore,
How are you? OK, enough with the formal stuff! You know that I think that it’s good that they make us write these letters in camp (though I’m sure it's to boost word scores). For many reasons, but, Folklore—
How do I say this?
You’ve been one of my closest friends for so long. I’ll keep it at that. The little shared moments we steal are nothing more than meetings of friends — right? No matter what Adi says? Mother has always taught me to act “on my manners”, whatever that means — but you know me.
A little forewarning — this is a very embarrassing part, but everyone keeps pressuring me to do so. If you feel the way I do, please ignore this letter ever existed, it’s quite weird
If you have any feelings for me, I do not return them.

A friend’s wish,
Elo <3

Hey Bi-Fi!
As you’re bizarro fiction, let's get a bit bizarre with this letter, shall we? Wait, what even is bizarro fiction?? Like does harry potter fit in there?? Because it's magic and that's bizarre. Or like Percy Jackson. Or are they all just regular fantasy and fiction? Or like.. I’ll stop boring you now :’)
But really. What is bizarro fiction ahhH??? Like, would Marvel count? Or like a mix of marvel, percy jackson, and harry potter?? Or not and i’m just messed up, it wouldn’t be the first time as you know lol.
Random and horribly cheery luck,
Elodie the goatie “poem” Charmanee

HORROR BOOOOOOOO,
Hey hello neutrals who we aren’t supposed to attack but we did get attacked last year so- let me restart! Heyyyyy neutrals!!!!! I’m poetry or elodie, or goatie, or poem, or charmanee number two! I’m weird, i think you’ve established that by now. Love it though <3 i love the fact that they make us write these letters to everyone at the middle/end of the session, it promotes the cabin love, don’t you think? But it’s really my time to shine with chaotic letters (hey the camp is chaotic in general-) and i get so bored without *special* types of books to keep me company.
Elodie <3

Mystery,
Omg hi you're such an inspo. Why do these letters be so chaotic?? Well, hello, it’s poetry/poem, your ally!! Thanks for being mango allies by the way, we all love mangoes <3 also why is one mango “mango” but two or more mangoes “mangoes”? Why do we add the extra “e”? Or is it just a random English grammar rule that no one even follows…? Is it? Or am i just overanalyzing things again…
Wait but what’s your favorite part about SWC?? I love that allies and neutrals and enemies part- Adi gets to be my ally >
A fellow ally,
Elodie

Hello script script,
How’re ya doing buddy? Hanging in there? I really am sorry about what happened with your arm- don’t say it wasn’t my fault, I shouldn't have suggested climbing up a tree! It’s my fault. I don’t care if you are my cabin’s “enemy”- I was the one responsible for your injury. I should have gotten the blame, not you. Why on earth did you tell the doctors it was you when it was me? I still feel so guilty, no matter what you say, Script. But I heard you guys are doing a script/play for the end of the camp? SPILL PLEASE!
Lovely and yours,
Elodie Poe
Sci-Fi please don’t attack us,
Hi! That was such a weird beginning sorry *slaps head* welp hi! How are you on this magnificent day today?? God i’m so bad at these. How have your letters been going? Not as chaotic as mine, I hope. I just wanted to say thank you for helping meet up with Script <3 even though he got injured, we had so much fun before hand. Whether we’re enemies, neutrals, or allies (I’m too lazy to get up and check the noticeboard, and we all know how bad my eyes are), we’ll always be friends!
Love,
Elo goto poe <3
m Charmanee

Real-fi hey guys.
I dunno, never really talked to you, Real-fic. I’m not even sure what real-fiction is— I googled it :’) oh wait it’s just realistic fiction, I’m an idiot. Anyways, I was wondering — can you help me pull a prank on Adi? I know you’re close. I’m willing for all types of pranks/tricks, as long as she doesn’t get hurt. And let me tell you, shaving cream is the best, she shrieks, and you’ve never heard something like that before! Or splashing water balloons at her after she swims—she’ll never understand that they are both water *slaps head*
Your pranking partner,
Elodie

Oh you exist thriller,
Hey friendos :> love ya lots even if i don’t chat with you every day! How could I not? Thriller is /one/ of the supreme types of genres. Notice how I said ‘ONE’. Because romance and others are great too lol. I can’t decide; what about you? Or would you have a biased opinion?? I don’t know. Sometimes, thriller stories can be classified as thriller but lean into a lot of horror, amirite? That’s what I feel, in any case. Or not. Like I said, I’m a chaotic mess lately, especially with what’s been going on with Script and Folklore. I’m sure you heard the gossip.
Elodie

six word story
Creamy waves washed into the shore.

Dribble 50 words
“Really?” I asked, not bothering to hear the reply. “You thought that running away was the best idea? Not staying and fighting?” there was no answer and I pulled out my wand discreetly.
“Crucio!” I barely whisper, letting the lethal word escape my lips. A smirk appears on my lips.

drabble 101 words
“Creamy rose-like waves?” I snorted. “Listen, Draco, I didn't mean for you to go ahead and write a load of poetry, you idiot.”
“My lady-” I snap my fingers.
“Shut up, will you? And bring Blaise, he's got skills you lack, at least,” I laugh. “Would you want me to bring in the Crucio? If yes, I'll do it gladly.”
“N-no, m'lady,” his voice is barely a whisper.
“Then bring Zabini!” I roar, my voice echoing in the dark grey of the walls. “And do so efficiently, if you can. Goodness knows you're a Malfoy.”
“Yes, m'lady,” he rushes to say.

Reunion (82 words)
I embraced her. Tears ran down my cheeks, dripping down into her soft hair. After so long in the dark, I had caught a glimpse of the sun.

I tilted my head up. Her face was set in stone, except for the faint sparkles of moisture in her eyes.

“I thought I was alone,” I choked out.

Her breath was soft on my ear. “I’m sorry it took me so long to get here.”

“But I’ll never leave you again, little brother.”

Meekly 1: 515 words

Okay, let’s start with dragons. They are EPIC! start off with, and for so many reasons. Yes, some of them can breathe fire, yes, the can fly, and yes, they are almighty and powerful, but these are just barely touching the surface of what is now known a complex and wonderful world of these ancient, lizard-like, snake-like, magical beings.

Starting off with them breathing fire and sharp claws: Okay, that is the key reason why all those brave knights are scared for their life from these creatures, but to be honest, it is actually an amazing way of defence, survival and amazing magic! Many dangers arre common, surrounding these animals such as bounties, their heads, or heartstrings for magical properties, or anything that includes destroying them! So breathing fire is a wonderful way to keep those dragon hunters away!

Then there is the wings, which had got to be the coolest things about dragons. Although, not all dragons may have wings of course, but it is known that they can all fly at least. They are able to carry their powerful bodies to the sky and zoom faster than aeroplanes! For the dragons that do have wings, they have an extremely large wingspan due to their huge bodies and when you look very up close, their wings are in fact very cool! They are also every skilled and graceful fliers and sometimes they have extra magic that enhances their flight, like speed, a wing that is normally seen on another animal, and so on!

Last but not least that all dragons are different, and diverse. People tend to think that there is only one dragon out there and that’s the fire dragon, but it’s actually not! Around the world there are many different dragons that take a different form. There are many example which I narrowed down to two: the Zilant, a chicken-clawed scheming dragon that will do anything to get’s it’s way from Eastern Europe, or the Long dragons, powerful, magically gifted dragons that rule over bodies of water in Ancient Chinese mythology. There is a wide expanse if different dragons, and that’s what also makes them all very special! And it also adds on to the point that it can make them easier to find as they are everywhere. Although they do live in rare and secluded places such as oceans, caves and haunted fortresses, so you do want to be very, very careful!

Now, moving onto the phoenixes, and their everlasting argument about whether they are capable of breathing fire, like some dragons we had talked about or not, and just sticking to their other natural abilities such as being rebirthed from a flame.
Could they breathe fire? I think that could depend in which kind of Phoenix we are talking about. In my mind, I always saw it as that a Phoenix will gain the ability to breathe fire depending on the amount of rebirths they have. And of course, phoenixes are generally made of fire and well, bird, so it would be pretty logical to say that they do, huh?

Epistolary Writing Weekly #1 (Total: 1689 words)

To: Steamie(fantasy)

Hi Steamie! I hear that your factory is working very successfully in the November 2022 session of SWC. My Oh My! First place! I am still around 13th place, but I think I can get better. I have also heard about all of your mythical creatures and I can’t help but ask for one! My delivery address goes as follows: Isle of Prose, a remote island near Poetry’s Isle of Fame. I kept trying to imagine my life without you as one of my valuable allies. I have been dying to ask if I could ever get a ticket into the Steampunk Sanctuary. Even if it is temporary I would love to see your house Steamie!

With lots of love
Po (Poetry)

To: Cele (from the dystopian realm)

Hi. I’m Po from the isle of fame. I have no clue how you can possibly live with such darkness in your world. I have to say, your realm is doing quite well so far in SWC but my friend Steamie from the Steampunk Sanctuary is beating you! Don’t worry, I will beat you at the end too! Recently on my isle, I felt rain droplets. I felt like they were coming from you! After all, we are enemies. Anyway, I can imagine you with black and white hair and someone who is kinda cool. I wish we could make it up but we shall let the competition go on. Gotta go sailing back to my isle. Please don’t make it rain!

Best Regards, your favorite enemy
Po (Poetry)

To: Cinny (BI-FI)

I have to say, your cinema looks quite bizarre these days! I have always wondered how your audience ever watches your shows. Honestly, I heard that they are quite good! I don’t think I could enjoy them because in my opinion, it is a bit too over-the-top for my liking. I would like to deny your request to use my isles as a place to film your movies. The only reason why I want to get a ticket is so I can get some of your DELISH concessions. Actually, as a matter-of-fact, I can give you the remote island of stanza if you give me those amazing snacks. Please write back confirming or denying my deal. Also, my home is on prose island, part of the archipelago of the island of fame. (NOTE: we are still enemies)

Your Enemy,
PO (the popcorn lover)

To Missy of Mystery,

Hi sibling, can I have a ticket to your express? I can’t help it but the beautiful snowy woods are absolutely breathtaking and I would love to go on a tour of them on your express. Why don’t we meet up sometime? As you probably know we have our amazing sibling hangout with Robbie(hi-fi), who’s theme thingy is a train robbery. Now I am so confused because I am beginning to think that both of you guys planned this train “theme” with your express and Robbie’s train robbery. Please don’t leave me out of these “sibling talks'' next time.

With lots of love,
POpcorn (poetry)

To my enemy, Cally (the script musical)

Hi enemy. I am super disappointed in you. You guys are in the top five right now. Woww. don’t worry, I am going to literally trade places with you. Uh-huh you heard me right, you are going straight to the bottom of the leaderboard and I am going straight to the top! On a side Note, Can i have a ticket to your music. Anyways, It was a pleasure to meet you and please write back (actually don’t because I don’t want your word count to go up) to my isle of fame.

It wasn’t nice meeting you
As you say, Foetry (but I go by Po)

Dear Egg Yolk a.k.a Folklore

Don’t worry about my little nickname for you, we aren’t enemies. (At least I hope we aren’t) We should go walking on your trail one day, maybe we can even become allies! I will be sure to bring my siblings and you should bring yours too. Actually we should bring all of our siblings and allies. That might be the whole SWC! We could all go walking on your beautiful trails at your house(Please give me your address *I gave this to your sibling to send to you*). Also, do you have any areas for camping because I am dying for some SMORES!

Your Friend(I Hope)
Po (Poetry)

To Simmie (from sci-fi simulation)

Hi friend! Can we get to know each other better? I really want to see how it feels like to travel through a portal! Actually I meant Metaportals - or whatever it is that you call them. It has been a pleasure to meet you and I have really enjoyed visiting your simulation’s studio. Can you please write back?? By the way, what is your word count? I am gonna be trying to reach your level on the rankings because I am last right now.

Good Luck!
Po (from poetry’s isle of fame— BECAUSE POETRY IS GONNA COME BACK AND WIN, but you may get second)

To: Rean (Location: 1874, Realistic Fiction Avenue near the hotel),

By the way, you can open one of your hotels on my isle! There is a lot of tourism going on currently and there is certainly some space for a hotel nearby. Do you guys have drinks and snacks at your hotel because I was driving past it the other day and like it was so hot outside and I needed something to drink and eat. I would like you to know that I may stop by the Inn to get something and have a quick chat regarding our friendship. (Don’t worry it isn’t anything bad) (Or is it…) Now I understand why we are neutral. But anyways, hope to hear from you soon.

Good Night! (or Morning) (or Afternoon)
Po (Poetry hopefully not Foetry like Cally from script calls us)

To King,

How’s life like being one of the rulers of a kingdom? Are you spending a lot of time facing rebels or making laws? Well it honestly sounds quite boring to me and it is also a huge responsibility. Needless to say, I am very happy to have such a powerful person as one of my allies. Thank you for letting me partner with you and we must reign supreme during the session and beat the rest of the competitors. Anyways, it was nice having a one-sided conversation with you and I hope you reply so it doesn’t seem that I am lonely.

Your favorite ally,
Po (poetry)

To Ocean(Thriller)

Greetings from Po! I would be honored to meet you for a very important conference regarding the reign of your sibling DySTOPian. See what I did there with the “STOP” for dySTOPia? Okay so anyway, since we are meeting(at least I hope so) for the first time in a while, may I ask if you could bring some thriller story examples? I will do the same for poetry, of course. Well, “Why?” you ask? The reason is I feel that we can collaborate and create a story that is amazing and award-winning with the two genres.

No fancy sign off,
POetry

Ello Naan!

Nice and creative name you have! I wonder who had thought of it. Anyway, I have heard that your bakery is amazing and delicious. I really need to try it. (Do you give free samples?) Well, tourism is getting quite busy on my island and it would be great if you could open another location of your bakery there! I heard that Rean (from Real Fi) may open another one of their hotels on my island. I just think that your bakery would be a perfect fit for the island and it would definitely make my island a memorable experience for all of the visitors.

I think we are allies,
POetry (a.k.a Po)

Hi, Fi! (Get it? I am saying Hi to hi-fi)

So, anyways I have just learnt that you and mystery are both doing train-themed things. Like really?! Next time please please please don’t do any other sibling plans without me! So on a side note, I have heard that there was a train robbery on one of the trains that came to my island. I have a reason to blame you :>. But anyways, It was nice writing this letter but I would like to have a meeting personally. Come on the following Friday on my isle of fame and I will meet you there. (And there will be your favorite— cinnamon rolls!)

Yours Truly,
PO (poetry)

To Ence (from Fan-Fi Travel agENCEy),

Hi Enceee! I hope you like that nickname. So, how does it feel to visit the past??? Thanks a lot for being an ally with me and sorry for not really meeting with you but I would really love to hook up some day. Where do you want to meet up? I could book some rooms in the realistic fiction hotel! Or we could visit my aisle! I have given this letter to hi-fi because I have no clue where your address is. Christmas is coming up and I found this gift that you will absolutely love! It should also be coming in the mail to you soon from hi-fi.

With lots of love,
POetry

To Rory, (Horror)

It took me a very long time to find your address. You really are good at finding things! I hope we can get to know each other better this November and have a month full of happiness and no horror. (Don't worry, I didn't mean it in a bad way toward you!) I can't wait to get to know you better and establish more friendship with you. If you would like, I could meet with you some day or some where like my island or your home. Please write a letter back because as I said earlier I think you would make such a good friend!

With hopes that we would become friends,
PO (Poetry)

Daily!

2009
“If this was your last birthday party you were ever gonna have,” Tony asks suddenly, looking far too serious for this to be hypothetical, “how would you celebrate it?”
Natasha doesn’t answer immediately. In other situations, in other company, she’d feel comfortable saying the words that immediately come into her mind. Instead, she goes with a more vague, but still truthful, answer. “I’d do whatever I wanted to do. With whoever I wanted to do it with.”

2022
Natasha watches the snow fall. It’s soft, fluffy, falling lightly. There’s something melancholy, but very beautiful, about snow. “Happy birthday,” she whispers to herself.
“Hey,” a voice says behind her, pulling her out of her thoughts.
Natasha turns around.
“What would you say,” Steve Rogers asks, “if I told you I brought you a cupcake?”
“I’d take it,” she says, “probably eat it eventually, and I’d ask you why you did it.”
Steve sets a cardboard box, printed with the logo of some family-owned bakery, on the desk in front of me. “It’s your birthday,” he says, “ and you’re my friend. Do I have to have another reason?”
“Yeah, it’s my birthday,” Natasha mumbles. “And I used to share it with twice as many people as I do now.”

2023
“Wake up, daddy!” Morgan shouts, pouncing on the bed. “Are you up? Are you up?”
“I am now,” Tony grumbles. But even he can’t help a small smile.
“That’s good,” Morgan says. “Now I can wish you a happy birthday. Mommy said I couldn’t until you were awake.” She procures a party blower from the pocket of her sweater and blows on it hard. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!!!”
Tony pulls his daughter into a one-armed hug, wrestling the blower out of her hands with the other. “Thanks, kiddo. But it won’t be very happy if you keep blowing that thing.”
“Too loud?” Morgan asks.
“Exactly.”
Morgan jumps up. “Okay, I’ll stop. But you gotta come! Mommy got the waffle maker out.” (329 words)

Main cabin daily #8 - flash fiction

Main cabin daily #8 - Flash Fiction (11/8/22):
what once was - double drabble
Every now and then I’ll listen to his CD.
I’ll wipe the smudges off the weathered disc, insert it into the ancient player, and lie on my bed as the sweet sounds of his guitar filter into the air.
My dad burned this CD for me on October 8, 2004; one month before I was born and three weeks before he died on tour in Los Angeles.
I never got to meet him. The internet says he was loud, famous, abrasive, and full of life. Your typical rock star.
But this CD, with its soft tunes and gentle lullabies, tells a different story.

According to my mom, he never told anyone about her. About me. And nobody knew the side of him that I see in the CD, the side of him my mom fell in love with.
It feels real good, knowing that someone loves you enough that they’d show you a part of themselves that nobody else gets to see.

It must be nice, to have a dad.
I never got to meet mine, and I know I never will.
But every time I hear the songs he wrote for me, I think of what might have been.

un-spectacular - twitterature
In my eyes, I am beautiful.
But he sees something totally different.
When he looks at me, he sees faded jeans, ratty hoodies, comfy tees.
When he looks at her, he sees everything I’m not.
I’m just myself. She’s spectacular.
It’s obvious which one he chooses.

the end of the earth, or something - drabble
And so it began the same way it ended: With a bang.
They sat in darkness while viewing a highlights reel of sorts.
It showed peaceful beginnings, explosive advancements.
Near the end, it moved to destruction.
But through it all, even the heartbreak and pain: Beauty.

Earth had been an anomaly; the gods were sure of that.
Though it had been their choice to start it, it had become an entity of its own, beyond even the gods’ will. It was gone now, no changing that.
But in the end, they all agreed.
If given the choice, they would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Weekly #1 (1803 words)

Dear Adventure,
It appears that we are siblings, but you have never been there for me… well, now that I think of it, none of my siblings were ever really there for me. But, you, in particular… you have been absent in every family gathering, in every family photo… the list could go on and on. You’re always off somewhere fighting your monsters and battling mythical beasts, and I guess, as our parents would always say, that makes you somebody I should “look up to.” Unfortunately, you’re lower than me on the leaderboard, so that goes to show how our parents aren’t always right. Maybe if you were there to defend our family-owned cinema when the real-fi inn came into town trash-talking our movies I would appreciate you more, but there’s not much to say when I don’t even know my own sibling that well because they never made the time to at least visit.
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Dystopian,
You don’t even know who I am, but I despise you so, so, so much. Do you understand how much I envy your perfectly starry eyes, and your naturally flowing silver hair that radiants in every room that you walk into… you’re the popular girl in school that everybody wants to be friends with. And, at some point, my naive self thought it would be a smart idea to get to know you. But, how can I, a mere mortal male who can’t get a boyfriend, survive in the presence of your awesomeness? You steal all the guys that I want with your sparkly charm and casual way of soothing them into submission… or perhaps it’s because all those guys were straight so I never had a chance in the first place. Whatever. I’m officially declaring you my enemy, and, like, you should save some of the guys for the rest of us.
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Fan-fi,
I know you will never read this, but I am such a big fan of your TV show, Turning Back Time and Other Ways to Erase Your Incompetence! I really relate to your show on an emotional and personal level, and you do not understand how much your show has helped me. I have been going through some tough times; my chicken nugget box was missing a piece of chicken nugget, and I accidentally wore my blue shirt instead of the purple one today. I know, my life sucks. But, your TV show has given me the encouragement to try going back in time to fix all those mistakes! Did it work? No, but I can always keep hoping, right? I have always believed in the magic portrayed in your shows, and it would be a shame if none of it was real…
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Fantasy,
Bro, you switch phases quicker than Dystopian switches boyfriends. Before, you were in your “emo” phase, and now this is your Victorian “steampunk” phrase? Come on, if you’re trying to pull off a steampunk look, you at least need a monocle or some fancy gadget on your belt. Wait, you don’t even have a belt or a satchel? Stop, don’t talk to me, that’s so disgraceful… I don’t care that you’re an animal, stop making excuses for why you didn’t follow the rules of proper steampunk etiquette! You know, Zaine from the daily team last session would cry seeing your attempted steampunk fashion… after all, didn’t he write that steampunk example and googled “hot steampunk men” for inspiration? Clearly, you should go to him for some pointers on the proper way of rocking a steampunk aesthetic.
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Folklore,
Oh my gosh, it is bestie! Or… perhaps, it *was* bestie…. We used to spend so much time together, but you decided to disappear and never come back. That was very mean of you. Sure, all the evidence right now points to your kidnapping (they suspect you were taken into the woods in our backyard), but we can never know for sure. First your sister, Fairy Tales, then your brother, Myth, and now you? Why does your family always have a tendency to just go missing? I have a suspicion that there’s some hidden conspiracy going on, and your parents are at the root of the problem. But oh well, no body no crime, I have no evidence, so we’ll just have to wait and see…
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Hi-Fi,
How many times have you broken out of jail at this point? Every time I find a way to trap you and send you off to the police, you manage to find some way of escaping. You’re always causing trouble around here; robbing the family store, robbing poor Non-fi of their bread… you probably even robbed Folklore of their life. You know what, that would make sense… maybe you were behind all the murders all along! Whatever the case is, one day, karma is going to get the best of you, and you won’t be lucky enough to be sent to jail… it just takes one misfired weapon to take you out after all. Best wishes!
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Horror,
My friends always tell me never to approach the spooky house on the hilltop… they tell rumors of an old witch that lives there, and if you ever enter the building, you will remain forever lost. Nobody who has entered your house has ever been found again. So, of course, I will write you a letter instead and slip it under your door! I am so clever. But, back on topic. I am asking for a favor from you. Honestly, Hi-Fi has been getting on my nerves, and I really need… a solution. I need you to make sure nobody can find them ever again! They have done so many bad deeds… it’s only right for this to happen. Please take my request to heart, and perhaps I will mislead a couple of children into entering your house.
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Mystery,
I saw you the other day at the train station, and you kind of reminded me of Folklore… perhaps I confused you with Folklore’s cousin, Evermore? Evermore used to be a conductor who drove trains to take people home… well, anyway. Enough rambling. I noticed you were crying on a bench, and I would have come up to you to ask you what was wrong but… your white skirt was stained with maroon, and I could have sworn I saw you holding some metallic object in your hand. Perhaps I’m just seeing things, but I was honestly kind of creeped out. But, I hope you get my letter, and that you are feeling better!
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Non-Fi,
Can I tell you how much I love your food? I have been such a loyal customer; I have bought every single limited-time edition of bread, and participated in every event that you held in your bread house… I have done literally everything to show you how much I care about your business! So… I am asking one simple request. Could you make me a cake for my birthday? I really, REALLY love the food you make and I thought it was worth a shot to ask. It is totally okay if you can’t make me one, but… it will be a very important day, and I hope you care about your customers…
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Poetry,
Clearly, I did not think things through when I agreed to be friends with a corrupt president. What in the world have you done to the poor… isle? Poetry, I really expected so much better from you. We used to be great friends. Now… I think the only logical thing to do now is to cut all ties with you because I can’t bear to associate myself with somebody like you. Pitting up your citizens against each other, fighting to the death? That is something that I can not support. I can not just sit and watch this happen, so I am officially calling it a war between us.
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Real-Fi,
Did you ever think about the consequences that would have occurred if you had built your inn right across from our cinema? We’ve been having fewer and fewer customers, and it’s all because of the filthy propaganda you keep throwing around everywhere! Stop trying to make our small business go out of business… that would be very misogynistic of you… well, actually, that’s Poetry, but let’s ignore that fact. What I’m trying to say is that you should learn to treat other people with respect and think about how others feel before you take over somebody else’s space… just saying.
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Sci-Fi,
Ah, yes. My favorite sibling. You were always so much better than Script and Adventure, but then again, I might be biased because I spend the most time with you. Which, is unfortunate, because Adventure spends all their time battling the monsters (probably in their head) while Script is too fame-hungry to care about their family anymore. Oh well, at least you call me every day! Well, now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in person… all of our interactions have been through some form of device or hologram. Wait… are you even real? Or, are you just a simulation? Have my parents been lying to me this whole time?
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Script,
Remember when we were younger, and I told you not to forget about me once you became world famous? Well, I guess you forgot about that. Hey, at least you come to the occasional family gatherings, which is way more than Adventure can attest to. I hope all those shows and performances you’ve been putting up have been worth it because you’ve completely forgotten about the existence of your sibling here. Ever heard of sending postcards? Or letters, like the one I’m sending to you right now? Heck, you move from place to place so often that I don’t even think you’ll receive this letter, unfortunately. Well, good luck on your shows, and I hope you break multiple legs!
From, Bi-Fi

Dear Thriller,
Hi! I am writing this request to ask if I could dispose of some… unwanted objects in your waters? I have a couple of letter confessions that I feel should be disposed appropriately into the bottom of the ocean. You know what, why am I asking you this? I’ll probably throw this letter to the bottom of the ocean as well. Don’t worry, I’ll attach a few… let’s say, lifeless *things* to make sure those letters get to the ocean floor. I love how expansive and vast the oceans are… and especially how much of the ocean is left unexplored. It’s perfect for hiding evidence you don’t want others to see!

He stares, glasses leaving red marks around his eyes. In fact, he even stares while removing the glasses and wiping them ineffectively against his sleeve, the checked pattern of his shirt looking drastically different from the rest of his glasses, a simple black. “This is strange: us. In every way. We're strange. Why are we like this, do you reckon?”
“I'm not exactly sure. I think we're just like that.”
“I don't even know how I know you,”
“You don't remember?” she asks, puzzled.
“I don't know.”
She thinks back to an autumn night where, scrolling through her phone, she came across a chat with her and a couple of her friends. There were people she didn't know there, unfortunately and, as the socially-anxious person she was, she didn't dare speak for five weeks. He spoke a lot. He decided to meet her a couple of weeks after she first texted, a simple greeting with a smiley emoticon that did not convey her feelings whatsoever. At least he had tried. She didn't say yes or no, but rather cowered away until he turned up at her house and dragged her outside. This time she said yes, and now here they were, sitting underneath the stars on a blanket that they could never afford without one other.
She stared at his freckles and felt herself melt in his caramel eyes.
They were friends – right?

“How much do you have?” the other asks sympathetically, finishing up on a history assignment. with a couple of words. They reread, grimace, and erase. “This is actually hard as well, so,”
“I have too much work, to be honest,”
“Do you think this sounds coherent?” One asks, but the second person doesn't answer.
“Has the call frozen? Hello?” they grumble irritably, then begin reading out their essay, emphasising each individual word. “And that, in conclusion, is why I think this topic is incredibly interesting and why I chose to wrote this essay about it. Done. Julie?”
“I think there's someone outside.” Julie whispers.

Andromeda is a constellation depicting the plight of Andromeda, the chained maiden. It is located in the Northern sky, which contains the
Andromeda Galaxy. They depict the tale of Andromeda, the foolish one.
Her tale begins on a bright and warm day when the king and queen of Ethiopia are blessed with beauty like no other. They name her
Andromeda, which means the leader of humankind. Andromeda grows up in pure luxury but dislikes how everyone focuses on her beauty.
She wishes to exhibit how strong and capable she is after many days spent in the gym but never gets the chance until her young
adolescence. One day, when conversing with the Nereids of the sea, Andromeda boasts that she is capable of any mighty feat exhibited by
a warrior. The Nereids, extremely upset by her words, return to Poseidon who promises vengeance for the Nereids. The very next day, he
visits alongside the Nereids and challenges Andromeda to lift his trident. If she manages to complete the task, he and the Nereids will
accept that she is, in fact, as capable as any other warrior. If not, she is to be chained to a rock and sacrificed to the sea monster Cetus.
Andromeda accepts this challenge, and Poseidon places his enormous trident in front of her in the sand. The maiden sits down and grasps
her palms around the smooth trident. However, when she tries to pick up Poseidon's trident, she is unable to despite her muscles. After much
strain and sweat, Andromeda miserably surrenders to Poseidon, stating that he is extremely wise and she is not as strong as she boasted to
be. Poseidon, satisfied with the girl's humble outlook, proceeds to call to his brother, Zeus, who picks up the girl with his strong winds that
bond her to a mighty rock. Poseidon then releases the sea monster, Cetus, on her who devours the saddened maiden. However, as her spirit
drifts upward, Zeus decides to honor the maiden with a formation of stars named after her plight. This is how the constellation Andromeda, or
the chained maiden, came to be.

An ode to parotta
~
The heavenly aromas waft to my nostrils
As I set my eyes on you
My stomach roars loudly at the sight of it
Crispy and hot, come and get it!
Oh sweet one, come to me!
Plain, butter, garlic, or potato, I certainly don't prefer
Just the right amount of chewiness
Charred to the perfect time
Behold thee
The masterpiece of flatbread
Eaten plain or dipped in delicious curries
Nothing can replace you
I yearn for your taste
You take effort
But you give my tastebuds the ride of their life
Behold the master
Keep your bagels and cornbread
Come for parotta
Dipped in hot chicken curry
Don't let up your chance
To eat the best flatbread in southern India
It's impossible to mess up
The amazingness of you
Eating you is a game-changer
It is love at first sight
Your beauty brings my appetite
Oh how I wish I could have you now!
However done
You is perfect
You are yummy and crispy
Delicious dipped in chicken curry
Why are you keeping me waiting?
Bring out the curries
And the chicken biriyani
And then the star of the show
Since any meal isn't quite complete without you
And then,
Start your feast

Maia woke up to blinding light and two beautiful azure eyes looming over her.
“ Come on Maia, hon. Time to wake up!” her mother gently brushed Maia's tangled chestnut brown locks, and kissed her on the forehead.
“ Coming, mom,” Maia yawned, sitting up in her bed as her mom left her room, closing the door behind her. She sighed as she got up
and stared at her reflection in the mirror. She didn't have her mom's pretty azure eyes, or her dad's striking blond hair. No, she had the
plainest brown locks and her eyes were a dusty brown. She wore clothes for children years older than her, unlike her mom who had the
slimmest figure, enough to look like a model.

Sophie gasped tremendously at Dex's recovery. Then, she grinned.
“ I went out this morning to get some mangoes. Wants some?”
“ARE YOU KIDDING?!” Dex shouted in excitement. “ NOW, THAT'S THE SECOND BEST THING I WOKE UP TO!”

Fantasy's war:
(Chapter 3 of War of Flames)
Scarlett blinked woozily, the void of darkness opening up to reveal a girl, probably not older than she was, with ravishing
jet-black hair and a chocolate-brown gaze.
“ Who are you?” she croaked as she struggled to get to her feet.
“ I may ask you the same thing,” the beautiful stranger simply replied, offering Scarlett a hand.
Taking it, she curiously met the girl's gaze. “ Well, I'm Scarlett Flames,” she said slowly. “ You?”
“ Nice to meet you, Scarlett,” the stranger said as she shook Scarlett's hand firmly. “I'm Grace. Grace Obsidian.”
“ Well, I'm going to assume you were the one who crashed into me?” Scarlett asked, placing her hands on her hips.
“ You're a feisty one. I like that,” Grace's mysterious eyes sparkled in amusement.
“ So, if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing out here so late?” Scarlett asked slowly.
Grace's face fell at the question. She glanced behind her as if she were afraid something was chasing her.
“Yeah, well, I might be a kid on the run,” she whispered the last part before looking around once again.
“ Like.. a foster kid?” Scarlett asked in confusion.
“ Not exactly,” Grace sighed. “ I really don't know how to explain this to you, but I think I have some monsters on my trail.”
“ Like.. real monsters?” Scarlett's eyes widened.
“ Pretty much,” Grace's eyes widened. “ Scarlett, behind you!” she screamed before pushing her out of the way.
Scarlett blinked in shock as she saw a large monster, covered in spikes, hissing at Grace. Compared to the sheer size
of that thing, Grace was a midget. There was no way the girl could handle that thing on her own.
As Grace strung her arrow and was taking aim at the monster, Scarlett leaped into battle, throwing a few punches at the
monster's feet. The monster groaned but didn't budge. Instead, it scooped her up in its enormous hands and squeezed
her till she could barely breathe.
“Help!” she squeaked as her eyes met Grace's. The girl didn't even seem startled as she calmly moved her aim
from the monster's heart to its eyes. She let go of the string, and Scarlett ducked as the arrow soared above her
head and landed right in the monster's eyeball.
Roaring, the monster released its relentless grip on Scarlett and dropped the girl. Scarlett screamed as she soared
through midair, a million thoughts running through her head at once. But one thing was for sure: she was definitely
going to smash her skull. Squeezing her eyes shut, Scarlett prepared for the hard impact of her landing…
And found herself in Grace's arms. Somehow, the girl had found a way to multitask between battling and saving
Scarlett.
“ Thanks,” she whispered, finding herself blushing slightly.
“ Don't thank me about it. But next time, please don't add to the work of battling a monster,” Grace said as she let
go of Scarlett.
Scarlett watched in awe as Grace gracefully strung an arrow into her bow, then aimed it at the monster's heart. Then,
in a blink of an eye, the arrow pierced the monster's heart and it collapsed to the ground with a mighty thud.
“ Clean shot,” Scarlett complimented her peer.
“ When you're running away from these things, you need to finish them off as quickly as possible before the next one finds you,”
Grace shuddered slightly.
Suddenly, Scarlett felt sorry for Grace. The poor girl looked like she'd gone through so much, even though she didn't look like she
was willing to admit it. Besides, she did owe the girl one for saving her life twice.
“ Grace?” Scarlett asked tentatively.
“ Yes?” Grace asked almost impatiently as she packed up her bows and arrows, two of them tainted with the monster's blood.
“ Would you… like to stay a night at my home?” she asked slowly.
Grace glanced at her as if she couldn't believe it was real. “ Really?” she asked.
“ Yeah, I do owe you one,” Scarlett said sheepishly.
And for the first time, she saw Grace smile, her teeth as radiant as the moonlight.
“ I would like that.” (680 words)

Real-fi's war

(by the moonlight)
Music blasted from the DJ as the lively crowd partied, clinking glasses of soda and munching on chips while they swayed to the beat. Well, most of them were lively. Piper wasn't at the second, since Charlotte had just ditched her for the new boy, and Bria was nowhere to be in sight. /Where are they?/ She thought nervously as she pretended to keep her face straight, swaying to the music like the others. It wasn't easy, though. She felt like a loser with no one to talk to, and she just couldn't bring herself to introduce herself to one of the new friendly faces. The thought itself made her shudder. What would they think of her? It was better to be safe than to be sorry, she decided firmly. Searching around for her friends, her face nearly melted in relief at the sight of Bria.
“Bria!” she said, a little louder than she intended. Before she knew what she was doing, she wrapped her hands around her friend and hugged her tightly. Pulling away quickly, she could feel the heat rising in her cheeks. What had she done?
But Bria didn't even seem swayed. The girl calmly caught Piper's gaze.
“ Woah, how long has it been?” she asked teasingly, tucking a strand of her blonde locks behind her ear.
“ Oh stop it,” Piper responded affectionately at her smirk.
Bria's smirk melted into a smile. She handed Piper a cup.
“This better not be alc0h0l-” Piper said, her gaze locked with Bria's. She noticed how quickly her friend dropped the gaze.
“Hey, why would I do that to you?” Bria asked curiously.
“Well, there was this one time when we were 6-”
“Stop it!” Bria gently shoved Piper, then dissolved into a fit of giggles which Piper joined in quickly. Suddenly, though, a boy with chocolate-brown
hair and dreamy blue eyes joined them. Immediately, Bria straightened, and stopped laughing. Piper noticed how she fiddled with her hair, and how
she turned away for a split second to swipe on some lip gloss. Who was he, and what did he want with them?
“ Greetings” the boy said, way too formally.
“ What does he want?” she hissed into Bria's ear.
“ Relax, he's just a very /handsome/ friend,” Bria responded, looking more nervous at the second.
Handsome? What was up with that? Piper felt her stomach turning as she glanced at the boy. She could tell her friend, and the girls around them
found him stunning, but for some reason, she couldn't see the big deal. He wasn't as gorgeous.
At least, not as gorgeous as Bria.
Reverting back to the moment, she watched as easy conversation drifted between the two. Bria was her /best/ friend. And seriously, what was
his deal with them?
It took the boy a few minutes to release they weren't alone. His eyes meeting with Piper's eyes, her mouth curved into a pout. She couldn't quite
understand the anger brewing inside of her.
“Piper!” she was pulled forcefully back into the room, Bria's questioning gaze on her's. “ Are you okay? Me and Pierre were so worried for a second
there-”
Pierre. Even his name tasted bitter. Glowering, Piper turned to Bria.
“I just remembered that I have a ton of homework to do,” she said stiffly, avoiding Pierre's gaze. “ So I… uh.. got to go!” she said with a forced smile in Pierre's direction, before darting off like a daft mouse. She tried to avoid her best friend's gaze burning into the back of her neck, but a longing gnawed in her stomach. What was this? Why did she hate Pierre so much? Did it have to do with.. Bria?

The very next morning, Piper dreaded having to go to ballet class. It would mean having to see Bria, and she wasn't sure she was ready for that just yet. But she knew her mom would never agree to letting her skip class, so Piper was forced to get dressed in her tutu and go downstairs. On a brighter note, though, her mom had made pancakes, her favorite breakfast, so Piper drowned herself in syrupy goodness. It was heaven, well, until she had to get into the car and drive to the studio. Then, her stomach began turning, as if it wanted to revolt against her. Groaning, she grasped one of the handlebars and waited until the car halted to a standstill. Then, getting out of the car, Piper forced a smile and walked at the pace of a snail to the entrance of the studio. But before she could open it, there stood Bria. She really couldn't hold it in anymore. As the sour taste hit her lips, Piper's knees collapsed as if they were made of paper and she fell backwards on the pavement. The last thing she heard was Bria's scream, and then everything went dark.

She woke up to a too-bright scene, w (wip)

Why I agree that Adrienette could never get together-
First of all, they have their own secret identities. They would keep on sneaking out during the night to pursue their superhero life, but this would weaken their bond as a couple. They would both be unsure why the other was keeping things from them and it would arise doubts in their relationship. And, of course, if they revealed their identities to each other, Monarch would just exploit it to get their miraculous. So it's highly improbable they would be able to get together, despite being perfect for each other. It's really depressing but sadly, it's how it works :'0

Sari usually woke up around 6 on school days, usually to get a bit of last-minute studying in. The girl was a big overthinker. She would study until the very last moment, and still doubt herself. After a hard morning of studying, Sari threw her book down her frustration. “Arghhh,” she growled in frustration.
“ What's wrong, hon?” her mom asked curiously at her daughter's frustration.
“ Mommm, I keep on getting all these IXL problems wronggg,” she whined, pointing to the annoying math website on her computer. “ I don't understand, what am I doing wrong?”
Her mother peered at her screen curiously, then at her scrap work. “ Honey, you got to remember half that ratio right there while writing exponential functions,” she said helpfully.
Sari grinned. “ Thanks, mom!”

Sitting at the breakfast table, Sari couldn't help but feel extremely confident about the upcoming quiz. As she stuffed her face with waffles sticky with maple syrup, she put her feet up confidently. What could go wrong?

Sari couldn't have thought more wrongly.
She had been late to school since she had taken forever to eat breakfast and get out the door.
She had forgotten all about the writing test they had today and probably failed it since she wrote the longest essay she ever
had but had no time to write the third body paragraph and conclusion.
Worst of all…
She had definitely failed her math quiz.
Sari had forgotten to study for 3/4 of the quiz, and she was pretty sure she had gotten everything wrong. (wip)

“Flash fiction is the shortest form of prose writing. It’s a flash - a blink - of a story, a universe contained within a few words. Go check out Soki’s fantastic workshop on how to slay flash fiction writing: ( https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/6688387/ ). Afterwards, we challenge you to, in 400 words, write three complete stories. Structure it however you like - the sky’s the limit! Upon completion, 300 points (and an extra 50 for sharing) shall be awarded.”

Human (69 words)

Swords clash. Bodies collapse. People fight.

Earth winces, from her throne.

Disease spreads. Death. Suffering.

She closes her eyes and prays.

Yelling. Arguing. Distress and pain.

Her brow wrinkles in concern.

A tree falls to the soft ground from the mighty swing of an ax.

A tear rolls down Earth’s cheek.

A young boy stops to help a grandmother cross the road.

Earth’s gentle face breaks into a smile.

Game of Life (219 words)

Life and Death sit across from each other in their castle among the stars, a chessboard between them. Calmly, Life moves her white pawn forward.

Crying, the newborn reaches its tiny arms out to its mother. A tear trickles down the mothers cheek. Her beautiful baby.

Death sets her pawn forward as well. Swiftly, Life takes with one of her pieces.

A toddler laughs. Her sister grins down at her, and tweaks her nose.

Death and Life move more pieces, and Life seems to be winning.

Now a middle schooler, the girl rests her head on her hand, listening to a history lecture.

Death swipes away Life’s two knights.

She sobs, alone in the cemetery, her grandmother’s grave resting peacefully before her.

The game continues. Pieces fall, one by one, until each only has seven left. Death smirks, and moves her bishop.

The girl, now a woman, smiles down at her own high school boy.

Life’s moves become desperate. Death now controls the game.

The woman, her grey hair resting on the pillow, lies in her bed. She coughs.

“Checkmate.”

Her son cries. The woman rests peacefully in a bed of flowers.

Life sighs, and picks up a new board.

The son rises, wipes away his tears, and, casting one last look at his mother, starts a new life.

Truths (40 words)

I tell them I want to be a scientist.
I tell them I always do homework.
I tell them it doesn’t matter to me.
I tell them I’m fine.
I tell them I’m great.
But what don’t I tell them?

Daily #8, Flash Fiction

“An old friend”
As the door closed, she told herself she would stop this.
Memories of all of the things they had done together flooded back to her– Running across forest floors, singing songs merrily, teasing eachother.
He was even there when her father had died.
But he didn’t deserve to die either.

(50 words)

“Teacups”
Bee sipped tea from his cup, thinking about the leaves, and how they were turning colors. Reds, yellows, and oranges that gave the trees an exciting pop of color that they deserved. He wished he could be outside, exploring, enjoying the misty and cool fall air, but he wasn't. He was stuck inside, speaking to Heather, his uncle.
So what did it matter if he maybe found out about all of those horrible things his father had done? He wasn’t his father, no matter how much he looked like him, or acted how he used to act, or… or…
“He was a monster, and you seem to be falling down his path,”
Bee reluctantly threw the teacup, and it hit the ground with a delightful shattering sound. Then he ran.

(130 words)

“Perhaps”
“Perhaps it’s time we try something different…
… Or perhaps it’s time we stop.”

Why hello, reader! ‘Tis me, CD- and I’m here to invite you to my dinner party =3

Nah just joking- though the cabins were slightly less fortunate xDD

All relations here are made up and not true! For instance, Sci-Fi very cool, Dystopian is amazing and Horror x Thriller is unfortulatley not canon </3 /j

2286 words total!

If you read this, thank you very much, I do appreciate how you chose to read mine out of hundreds of weeklies ) <3

Letter to Folklore (161 words)

Why hello, my Folkicious friends! It’s nice to write to you every now and again you- although I can’t be sure that it’ll happen anytime soon, considering you’re in a meadow and I’m kinda, like, at the bottom of the ocean, where the mail services are- interesting, to say the least. Honestly, I don’t get how your people can’t figure out how to travel down a whirlpool properly.

I just wanted to comment on how nice your villiage looks- and the forest and hills around it are beautiful as well! I saw them the other day at Bi-Fi's special underwater movie showing. And I’d like to comment on how prosperous your villiagers are- always working hard, ay? Well, you may by ahead on the Earthly Leaderboard of Awesomness for now, but we’ll be coming at you with the strength of a tidal wave. Can’t wait!

Hey also wanna come to a dinner party =00

Regards from Unda da Sea,

Thriller <3

Letter to Sci-Fi (195 words)

Hi, Sci-Fi.

We’re enemies. You know that. I know that.

And for good reason, too.

You guys are, like, obsessed over mechanics are electronics and blah blah and ooooh! You’re in a simulation! Well isn’t that wonderful- except for the fact that I couldn’t find your P.O. box. Like, I wrote this letter ages ago and It’s taken me THIS LONG to find an address to mail this to.

Anyways, there’s another reason we’re enemies- you guys are NOT compatible with water. At all. And that’s kinda a problem considering we’re literally at the bottom of the ocean. That’s why I wrote this email- I'm requesting some kind of waterproof technology to allow me to chat to you guys more often. Maybe that would make us be able to forge some kind of connection other than annoyance at each other. (And you could join the amazing underwater party I'm trying to organise!) And I know your purpose isn’t to be tech devs or anything, but I'm sure you can put aside your ranking climbing on the Earthly Leaderboard of Awesomeness for a second so we can be better friends.

Waiting from Unda da Sea,

Thriller

Letter to Fantasy (129 words)

Hiya Fantasy!

As your friendly neutral on the Earthly Leaderboard of Awesomness, I am here to congratulate you on your incredubly high ranking. Honestly, second? It’s amazing that you’ve come so far- especially considering that you guys are stranded on a tiny island in a marsh, or the ocean, or with clouds and moisture all around you. That must suck.

Actually, I take that back- being around water 24/7 is awesome. I should know- I literally live at the bottom of the ocean. Yeah. It’s cool. And it would be that much cooler if you joined us.

So how’s this: give up on saving your island and whatever and embrace the wet! You won’t regret it D

Excited for you to join us from Unda da Sea,

Thriller

Letter to Poetry (108 words)

Poetry-

As your allies, I dragged myself aaaalllll the way up from the literal bottom of the ocean to say this.

(Although it did kinda help that you guys are on an island like Fantasy- ocean buddies alliance proposal?? =00)

You guys are amazing. You are incredible. And no matter where you are on the Earthly Leaderboard of Awesomeness, you are still incredible. I’m here to offer encouragement, to say just how cool you are, and to request your baklava recipie. Seriously, did you guys visit Greece or something? Because that stuff is de-li-cious.

Anyways, good luck on your future endevors!

Peace from Unda da Sea,

Thriller

Letter to Non-fi (231 words)

Hi Non-Fi! Or should I say Naan-Fi? Haha- that's the best name I've seen in a while

It's Thriller! Your neutrals! Although I’ve noticed on your ‘allies and enemies’ menu- is that a menu? Can I order, like, Real-Fi for breakfast?- you’ve put a question mark next to your relationship with Thriller- are ya plottin something there little bread people?

As you may have expected, I came to order some bread. I’d like a whole platter, if you please- I'm expecting the Poetrarians and the Fantasians and hopefully the Sci-Fi-ians, the Bi-Fi-ians- who may bring the Scripatians-, the Horrorians, my and anyone else who’d like to tag along. I’m trying to host a party, and you have n-o I-d-e-a how hard it is when you live at the bottom of the ocean.

Anyways, I’d like to pre-order the famous naan bread, loads of breadsticks, foccacia- that's my faveourite!- basic brown, whole wheat and white bread, some baguettes (did you know I’m in a baguette cult?) a large batch of croissants (both chocolate-filled and normal!), some pão de queijo (oooh, another faveourite!!) and- well anything you think is great. Extra salt on the side would be appreciated!

How much’ll that be? We do happen to be quite rich in the currency of sand dollars- I hope you take cash as well as card?

Getting hungry from Unda da Sea,

Thriller D

Letter to Bi-Fi (189 words)

Hi amazing Bizzaro people! What movies are you showing? I’m really wanting to watch the new Rattatouie movie with my bros- will you tell me when that’s coming out? Really appreciate it!

Speaking of things I appreciate, thank you guys SO MUCH for that underwater movie showing the rest of the world. It’s such a hassle to swim aaaaalllll the way up to the surface, and then aaaaalllllll the way back down for a quick train ride sponsored by Mystery ‘round the continent. And it was a form of entertainment that we don’t often get down here! So once again, thank you guys so much!
I was hoping you may be free again next week for another underwater movie- one Thriller would pay for this time. I’m trying to host a dinner party with most of the cabins and we could do with the entertainment! If you guys came, we’d have both a movie AND a play from Script- assuming they agree as well- all visible from the comfort of the sandy ocean floor!

I hope you’ll think about our offer

Excited regards from Unda da Sea,

Thriller!

Letter to Fan-Fi 125 (words)

Hello my amazing sibling!

It’s great to talk to one of my closest friends and family (simultaniously? How is that possible? Are you all just that amazing =00) as we don’t get to really chat much. Since we all parted ways, you’ve been so distant- though I do appreciate the check-ins that you guys make an effort to do occasionally. Much better than our other sibling Dystopian- ugh, youngest siblings am I right?

Anyways, we under the ocean would love for you to join my inter-cabin-ary dinner party that I'm planning! It shouldn’t be too much of a hassle for you- if you can travel in time, surely you can travel in space, right?

Hope to see you soon from Unda da Sea,

Thriller <33

Letter to Mystery (145 words)

Hello Mystery!

So, as you may know, I, Thriller, am hosting a dinner party at the bottom of the ocean. And I'm inviting all the cabins! But… most of them are on land, as to be expected. And honestly, diving to the bottom of the sea is already a huge request, so the long journey across the continent may be a huge dissuader for them.

In my amazing plans, this is where you come in. Perhaps you guys would be ever so kind as to make a round of the continent on your amazing railroads and pick up all the cabins?

I can play- in sand dollars…?

Anyways, I hope you choose to accept this offer- you're very welcome at the party as well!!

Hopeful from Unda da Sea,

Thriller

P.S. I've told Hi-Fi not to rob you guys if you agree to this…

Letter to Hi-Fi (211 words)

Why hello, Hi-Fi! I must say, your horses are looking mighty fine today… such beautiful, smooth, luscious coats! And- wow, did you get new coats? You’re going to have to tell me where you got them from- those are so thick and comfortable looking! I heard from Bi-Fi that you guys have been making some simply incredible harmonica, accoridan and guitar symphonies!! If it’s no trouble to you, I’d love for you guys to come down under the sea to perform for us one day… what’s that? Stop- stop the flattery? I have noooo idea what you’re talking about…

Okay, fine. I’ll get to the point. As you may know, I’m hosting an underwarter dinner party, and I’m hoping Mystery will be ever so kind enough to make a quick round of the continent on their railroads to pick everyone up and drop them all off buy the seaside. Now, I know this is going to be a hard request for you guys to follow through on, but please, PLEASE do not attack the train whilst it’s chugging along. It would give me some seriously bad rep, and Mystery… let’s just say I don’t think they would talk to me much anymore.

Please?

Begging you from Unda da Sea,

Thriller

Letter to Script (126 words)

Hi Script!

I’ll get straight to the points here- as you’ve undoubtedly heard, I, Thriller, am hosting an underwater dinner party- to which you, obviously, are invited you amazing actors. However, I was hoping that if you were able to make your way down to the bottom of the sea for the party, you could possibly bring your equipment? Like, costumes and stage props and everything? And you could possibly perform a show? It would bring so much life to the party- we'd love to have you!

Although I do appreciate that it is a lot of work, so no worries if you can’t make it

Smiles from Unda da Sea.

Thriller )

P.S. we’re coming for you on the Earthly Leaderboard of Awesomeness

Letter to Adventure (126 words)

Hello Adventure!

I’m excited to invite you-

Oh wait.

You guys are royalty, right? Guess I better address you properly.

Ehem.

Dear my beloved friendly neutrals, It is my great pleasure to extend a beringed hand to your honor in invitation to a prestigous party in which the esteemed guests will be none other than our incredible continental habitants. You, of course, would never be excluded from this distinguished and honored event, so we have arranged for the kind and genteel Mystery Express to pick your royal selves up directly parralel to your luxurious kingdom of greatness. We at Thriller are grateful for this opportunity; namely, to have the amazing royals of Adventure present at our honored gathering.

Many esteemed wishes from Unda da Sea,

Thriller

Letter to Dystopian (140 words)

Hi.

It’s me.

Thriller.

Writing to you.

Dystopian.

My younger sibling.

Wow. I’ve really sunk so low as to be talking to you voluntarily. I thought that when I moved to the ocean floor, I would fiiiinally be rid of your annoying burdenous prescence In my life.

Guess not.

Anyways, I’m here to invite you to a dinner party. Or something.

Only because I know that if I don’t invite you, you’ll storm a hissy fit or throw a tantrum or something.

Younger siblings. Argh.

Anyways, come or don’t come. I don’t care.

(Except I do, please don’t come )

I don’t know how you’re going to get from your fancy realm to the ocean. Ask older sibling Fan-Fi. Not my problem.

Anyways, please do not contact me for the next couple thousand years!

Annoyed from Unda da Sea,

Thriller.

Letter to Real-Fi (126 words)

Why hello Real-Fi!

I’m here to invite you to the (at this point) world-famous underwater dinner party that I happen to be hosting. Underwater. And yes, I did come all the way out to deliver this message personally- after all, I’m pretty sure you’re my only neutral neutral, so you deserve special treatment. Although next time I would appreciate not leaving me to wait in the lobby for thirteen hours and eighty-two minutes as the time did drag on. I was going to compliment the design, but I must say I’m slightly tired of it at this point.

Anyways, I hope you’re able to make it- I'm sure you’d liven up the party completley

(Not really. Plaid cushions? Seriously?)

Bored from Unda da Sea,

Thriller

Letter to Horror (109 words)

Oh, Horror. Horror, Horror, Horror.

You are my greatest enemy.

You are my true love.

You are the flower that blooms in my field.

You are the thorn that pricks my finger.

You are lost-

I can be your found.

You are afraid-

I can be your peace.

You are Horror,

I am Thriller,

We are bound together by the realms of fear.

We are made for each other.

So when the party ensues,

I will say not a word.

But when everyone else has left,

I will bear a bouquet of corals like no other.

And I will ask you…

Will you go to the beach with me?

My eternal love from Unda da Sea,

Thriller <3

story #1 - 90 words

I carefully set the flower down on her grave, reading the text engraved into it as I always did. February 6th, 1985 - August 11, 2017.

I checked my phone. 9pm, August 11, 2022. I looked back down at the grave, closing my eyes for a moment. Taking a deep breath in and slowly letting it out, I opened my eyes again. I stood up and walked away, not looking back; partially because I couldn’t force myself to, and partially because I was already blinded by the tears in my eyes.

- -
story #2 - 116 words

I ran through the trees. Branches snagged onto my hair, mud sloshed over my boots, and leaves got caught in my raincoat. My surroundings started out as an empty forest, but it slowly started to fade into black. My vision blurred, my head spun, and I barely felt it as I tripped over a root and fell onto the ground face-first. I didn’t feel it at all as tears streamed down my face. My mind started to go blank, and the silence of the forest turned into the silence of the deep abyss that I kept returning to. This was the third time it happened this week. But this time, he wasn’t here to help me.

story #3 - 185

I added some finishing touches to the steak, then picked up the plate it was on and placed it onto the cart. This dish was for an important customer, and I was already behind on time. As I passed the head chef, I paused, waiting as she eyed my steak. Once I got the nod of approval, I wheeled the cart out of the kitchen and towards the table where the customer was seated.

“Here you go, sir,” I said as I handed the customer his steak. He didn’t look at me as I took a step back and silently waited; I was supposed to tell the head chef if he enjoyed it. The man gingerly cut off a piece of his steak and ate it, chewing it slowly. He looked at me, and gave me a silent nod of approval. I quickly smiled, then turned around and wheeled the cart back to the kitchen.

“The customer seemed to enjoy it,” I said to the chef. She gave me another nod. It was always the nod that let me continue on to the next task.

Dear Historical Fiction,
How is it going there Hi-Fi? Pretty please don’t rob our train. I mean, what do you even get out of robbing people’s trains? It is inhumane and unjust. Work for the gold yourselves and everything will be at peace. Or else. Just joking!! (pretty please do not rob our train, we are siblings, spare us pretty please with a cherry on top with extra sprinkles) You know, but you should rob Thriller… because they are kinda scary, anyways, have a good day! P.S If you could also send us some paper, that would be nice.

Your sibling,
Mystery

Dear Poetry,
How is it there in Poetrisland? We are stuck here on a moving train day and night, we get a little sick sometimes, but the view is nice! Waterfalls, mountains, trees.. Even if Historical fiction is your enemy, and they are our siblings, we hope nothing gets in the way of OUR sibling hood. As we know, you’re in last place, but don’t lose hope! We will mail you guys some motivation cookies, and remember, NEVER ever give up. Good luck Poetry!!

Your sibling,
Mystery

Dear Thriller,
No clue how to get a message down to the ocean floor, but we hope this message in a bottle works out. Maybe not, whatever. We even laminated it so it gets less wet, we hope that works. Do not ask how we got a laminating machine on the train. Too bad, so sad if the letter does not make it. But are you okay Thriller? Not like we would really care about you but the ocean floor is dangerous, I hope a shark does not get you, or a piranha, those things are a threat to society. That would be totally super duper unfortunate. I hope you guys are able to make a safe trip back to the surface.. or not. Good luck thriller.. Also you might want to watch out for Historical Fiction. They have some tricks up their sleeve..

Mysteriously,
Mystery.

Hello Folklore,
How is it there in the village? Must be nice to have fresh air and bustling village life. We are on a train, it is high key boring. No fresh air, no nothing and barely any food. Please send us some flowers, it smells like oil and coal here. We have been living off of crackers and butter and supplies are running out. In return we will send some motivational cookies. Our specialty. If we have enough ingredients, of course. Maybe we can get some other cabins to give them to us.. We promise there will be nothing mysterious in them, only chocolate chips. Best of luck, folklore!

Sincerely,
Mystery

Greetings Non-fiction,
Or should I say “naan fiction”. We have seen your bread house. It is quite bedazzling. If you do not mind, could you please send us some bread and butter. All we have on the train is noodles and mashed potatoes and crackers and butter and water. We are running out of food! And very fast! If you give us your whole collection of bread and butter, we, in return, will give you motivation cookies, or else. If we get the ingredients of course. But they will be SOOOO tasty, give us bread plz. We also promise nothing mysterious will be in them.. what do you mean? Of course there won’t be? Only chocolate chips!!

Very sincerely,
Mystery.

Salutations to the Adventure Kingdom,
We would like to file a complaint. One of your dragons.. or whatever creature from the pits of heck is that, literally crashed into the caboose. If we do not get money to fix it from you guys, there will be a problem. A BIG problem. And we will be taking this to the royal courthouse. Please take care and maintain your beastly dragons, we would not like this to become a big problem with other cabins and kingdoms of all sort.

Sincerely,
Mystery

Why hello Science- Fiction,
As you probably know, you have sent a bug to all of our devices on the Mystery train. As you can see it is a big problem. We cannot access our documents, books, or online shop. Please fix the bug. It is very annoying!! And it has already spread to poetry, use your tech skills, or we will file a complaint and barge into your headquarters. Or we might do something even more evil and crazy than that. You never know what is next. We are mysterious and mischievous. We are Mystery. Beware Science Fiction.

Coldly,
Mystery

Hello Script!
We know you have been busy with theater and.. stuff but could you please send some paper to us? We cannot complete the dailies and weeklies without paper, and we would greatly appreciate the quills and ink. We know you are busy but we would greatly appreciate it! We could possibly give you guys some coins in return! Unless Historical Fiction aggressively robs them from us. Beware of Historical fiction, they have tricks up their sleeve, anyways, think about it and write back to us!

With love,
Mystery

Heyy Bizarro-Fiction,
We heard about the movie theater thing, I hope you all are recovering. That seemed high key scary. Also, what do you even do all day? In a cinema that sounds super boring. We bet you guys can probably watch a lot of cool movies, sounds fun.. Well, we are writing from a train. We guess that is more boring. Also could you please send some movie theater popcorn, we have heard it is quite the delicacy. We would like the popcorn extra buttered please. Anyways, stay safe!

Sincerely,
Mystery

Hi Realistic Fiction,
We heard about you. How is the inn? It seems very very sketchy. We hope you are safe and okay and well and healthy. We looked on Yelp and that place has a one and a half star review. Yikes! And it is in the middle of ABSOLUTE NOWHERE????!!! Very very creepy. Like who the heck goes to an inn in the middle of nowhere and thinks that is safe. Anyways, write back soon to tell us you are safe. It would also be quite a tragedy if not. Also if you guys need paper Script might send some to us which we could send back to you. Have a good day and please stay safe.

Sincerely,
Mystery

Greeting Fantasy,
How is it there at the.. steampunk sanctuary? What even is that? Anywho, it sounds kinda super cool. Send us some pictures over here to us on the train, it gets quite dull only seeing mountains and trees and lakes and cows. A stupid dragon crashed i to our CABOOSE? like what the heck, adventure kingdom. Ugh. Anyways, write back soon!! We would love to see how the steampunk world looks like!! Also while you are at it, send us some spare quills if you have any. The dragon has eaten most of them, and we are using the very last one. Please write back and send some quills along with it (maybe some bread too) Have a great day!!

Sincerely,
Mystery

Hello.. Dystopian,
You are in first place, but not for long. We will mysteriously take over your first place. As we are.. Mystery. Beware. Anywho, how is it there in your world? It seems quite boring and frightening. On the train we have a quite magnificent view of nature and cows and stuff. We love it so much!! Anyways, write back soon, or else. Also, we would just LOVE to see pictures of your.. dystopian world. Tootles!

Sincerely,
Mystery.

Good afternoon Fanfiction,
How are you? Anyways, we do not know how this letter will get to you because you are with some.. outer space aliens on a mission. Hopefully, this letter will make it up there. Somehow. Anyways, tell us more, did you find anything interesting? Will the world end? Is climate change still happening? Let us know over here on Earth! A dragon crashed into our caboose just now, HOLY COW IT IS ON FIRE NOW?!

Sincerely,
Mystery

Hello Horror,
How is it going with getting revenge on the council? I hope it is going well, they deserve to suffer. Must be a bit scary though. Please stay safe, and stay hydrated and well. Send us over some weapons, we need to defend ourselves from the scary dragon from the Adventure Kingdom.

Sincerely,
Mystery.

SWC Megathread || Nov. 2022

dear dystopian,

hello sibling! i hope you’ve been doing well, after all you're first as of when i’m writing this! i’m so happy for you, i hope your place stays high until the end. hopefully we can come up and join you, this weekly is bound to help. has there been anything you’re worried about for swc? i’ve been worried about getting the dailies done on time, it’s so hard with time zones and daylight savings time to figure out when it’s too late! i hope you’re dealing nicely with that. have there been many people entering the weeklies for your cabin? i bet there is, but i hope more people will to keep helping your cabin! i hope you keep your high spot on the podium, good luck!

best wishes,
belle from fan-fi

dear thriller,

hello there sibling! how has your cabin been faring? i can see you’re in the spot right above us at the moment, while i won’t say i’m not jealous, i’m also happy for you! at least you’re not doing worse than us, since we aren’t too far from the bottom. hopefully this weekly can bring us up a bit. has your cabin been enjoying the word wars? they’ve just started, but they’re already blowing up. i hope you can get some good points from the wars. i’m not sure at the moment how are cabin is doing with the wars, but i hope we’re doing well. i hope you can rise up to the top sooner rather than later!

best wishes,
belle from fan-fi

dear adventure,

hello ally, has your cabin been doing well? your thumbnail for your main cabin looks so amazing! i love the castle and the pretty font and the colors! i bet your cabin has been writing some great stories! how is everyone doing with their word count? i’m doing pretty well so far, my goal is 10,000 words, and i think i have around 3000 words so far so i’m probably going to reach 75 it! i hope you can climb the ladder to the top and end up with a high rank! i wish good luck on your cabin

best wishes,
belle from fan fiction

dear historical fiction,

Hello there ally! how has the weekly been going for your cabin? i know i’m not good at writing letters, so it’s difficult for me, but i hope your cabin has been doing well with it! what’s been your favorite daily so far? mine has to be the one where you have to put your favorite song through google translate and then write a story about it. sadly i wasn’t able to finish that one on time though, but the song was hilarious! i think the three word stories daily was fun too. i hope to hear back from you!

best wishes,
bell from fan fiction

dear realistic fiction,

hello there! i’m so glad that you’re my ally. i’ve always found realistic fiction stories super fun to read and write!

best wishes,
belle from fan fiction

dear bizarro fiction,

hello my friend, how has your cabin been doing? have you been enjoying the weekly? for me it’s kind of hard because I’m no good with writing letters, but maybe it’s better for your cabin. how have the word wars been going for your cabin? I haven’t done any word wars yet, which probably isn’t too good. i’ve been a bit busy and everyone always says life>swc. I plan on doing some tonight when I have more time and if I finish the weekly. I remember word wars from last time I did swc and they were fun. I’m sad that you can’t win more than one a day, but it’s definitely better than nothing. hope your cabin does well!

regards,
belle from fan fiction

dear script,

hello there, friend. how have the new people in your cabin been doing? I remember in march when I was new i was very confused about how swc ran. it was difficult to get the hang of things. I didn’t even know how to use the mega thread, because I had never used the forums before. i had to put all of my writing and projects. in fact, I used the forums for the first time only a few days ago. I hope that the newcomers can get the hang of it better than I did. Good luck!

belle from fan fiction

dear poetry,

hello friendo, how are you doing? has your cabin been enjoying the dailies? some of them have been very fun. I haven’t been able to get to all of them because I don’t have too much extra time between school and art and books. I’m hoping i’ll be able to make time for them once I get this design trade that i’ve been doing finished. it’s taken up a lot of time because I keep overthinking things and editing the ref sheet. maybe your cabin is doing a bit better with that than I am. hope your cabin does well!

regards,
belle from fan fiction

dear fantasy,

hello friend, how have you been doing? our cabin hasn’t been doing nearly as good as you, after all, you’re in a pretty high place right now. how has the time change impacted your cabin? it was hard for me, because I was already having to turn in things in by 6:00 in my time zone, but it got weirder when daylight savings time kicked in. now I don’t even know what time midnight utc is in my time zone. it’s all very confusing to me, but maybe your cabin is faring better than we are. it’ll get very confusing when we go to our grandparents house in another time zone this weekend, but hopefully i’ll be able to figure it out.

belle from fan fiction

dear mystery,

hello there friend, what’s been going on in your cabin lately? how have the weeklies been giving you any trouble? I’m sure they haven’t, considering your pretty high in the ranks so far. how has your cabin been doing with the word wars? I haven’t won any so far because I haven’t competed in any, but I bet i could’ve won a few if I have. I bet your cabin has won a few, again because of your high rank. maybe if you can win some more you can get second or first place. good luck!

regards,
belle from fan fiction

dear folklore,

hello there, how has your cabin been faring? has anyone had any trouble or got burnt out already? I know I’m burnt out, but I have to finish this weekly so I can get some points for my cabin. we aren’t doing too well so far and I’m trying to help in any way possible. maybe there’s someone in your cabin like that. of course I probably shouldn’t be doing it because everyone always says swc<life but I really want to help so I’m willing to be a bit stressed. maybe your cabin is doing better prioritizing their lives over swc.

regards,
belle from fan fiction

dear sci fi,

hello there my enemy, i hope you’re doing horrible. i’m very mad at you for being like 5 places above us so you need to stop it with that right now. im really hoping we can beat you super hard and totally win while you get last place and all of your cabin just starts wailing in depression. that would be fun. anyways, i hope y’all get disqualified or something, that would also be great for our cabin. wrought guys need to start getting burnt out and forgetting to turn in the weeklies and dailies, that would really help us out

from,
belle from fan fiction

dear non fiction,

hola enemy, i await the day when your cabin falls to the very bottom and your whole cabin collapses in on itself with all of the members inside. on that note, i’d probably be the one to crush you guys, but don’t worry, i’ll make it as painful and pain inducing as possible . if you guys don’t mind, go enter some word wars then lose a bunch so that you can just keep falling down the ranks, i would greatly appreciate that. honestly, if you guys would burn then disappear, i would love that a lot for us.

from,
belle from fan fi

dear horror,

hello there my friend, just kidding, i wish you to perish very painfully my enemy. so i see you are much higher in the ranks than we are, and i do not like that. if everyone in your cabin just vanished, that would make me very happy, so if you don’t mind, i’ll send you some vanishing potions so that you can just all disappear. and don’t worry, it’s going to a great cause, your destruction and our cabin winning. thank you so very much. i wish a very painful end upon you and all that are in your cabin!

belle from fan fiction
