I have decided to go ahead and remove version branches (yay!), making everything simpler and less conflicting. That means committing “directly” to main, usually through smaller branches that each change one or two things.

Help improve the Advanced Topics (Really!)
Before you create a topic:
Always search for duplicates or other similar topics before making an umbrella topic, e.g., “The Mac Topic”.

Is it about something you are planning on making but haven't made yet? If so, please wait to post until you have created a working prototype. This is a key factor to keeping the ATs as clean as possible.
The ATs aren't technical support. It is perfectly valid to ask questions about things related to programming, but not issues with external websites, apps, or devices. Most sites have their own support system; try asking there!
Is it related to something you are making in Scratch? (This includes OSes and other Scratch projects) If so, please post in Collaboration, Show and Tell, or another similar forum.
Is your topic questionably “advanced”? Try browsing the other forums to see if your topic fits better in one of those.
Issues with Scratch itself should be put in Bugs and Glitches.

Before you post: Is what you're posting likely to start an argument or derail the thread (e.g., browsers, operating systems)? If so, please re-think your post!

Fun Fact: If my account continued to gain followers at a similar rate to right now, in 14,210 years I would reach the number of followers griffpatch has today! Try to imagine how many followers he would have then!

1. Bookmarks, they are not a bar. I don't like the current bookmarks menu. Please use the standard bar for bookmarks.
2. Bookmarks make a new tab instead of replacing selected tab. This makes Ninetails feel terrible to use.
3. PLEASE move the add tab button to the same bar the tabs are on
4. Improve update notifications by using the implementation in my browser. Instead of putting it in ninetails.cf ask god286 if he can implement it into the application/software itself.

I think Ninetails is meant to be different than any other browser, and this seems more like harsh complaining than constructive criticism to me-

1. It looks cool that way. Maybe you would like an option.
2. There could be a right click menu

4. That was made in a PR by me, but the current implementation is better

I already answered 1 and 3 before. I understand that you might dislike the way bookmarks open, but I always open bookmarks in new tabs. I might make a setting for that in a future release. As for number 4, ninetails.cf is no longer used. https://mystpi.github.io/ninetails has been used for a long time, and I wont be changing it to a different method.

Edit: the new tab button is on the same level as the tabs. What are you talking about?

typo, I meant the close tab. I think it being on the tab like Firefox would be good

A browser must be usable and stable for the end-user (me for example). A setting toggle for what happens when you click a book mark or wether its a menu or a bar. Not sure if that's even possible

There are aspects of UI's that I don't like, but that doesn't make it unusable to me.

Move UI arguments to UI design before this topic gets closed like the rest.
One last note, the software is for the users. Standardization is best, always.
