Why do I contribute? When I joined scratch, I was confused. I was just starting online learning, so I hadn't used computers much before. People were very willing to help me. Without them, I probably wouldn't be here. I decided to help others. When I help others, I know that I'm making a difference in their scratch career. Hi, my name is hiPeeps124816 (obviously), I contribute in the wiki and I also sometimes minimod in the forums. I contribute because it turns out the wiki has tons of incorrect/outdated pages from Scratch 2. I'm frequently on the forums, the Ray Madness studio, and I'm a mostly self taught HTML (mostly from Inspect Element) person. I also closely watch OS Wars. And I'm uselessly trying to make non-sphere sdfs in my raymarcher.

I’ve been on Scratch for just under a year, and to be honest, I never expected to come this far. I joined for school, to make a basic clicker game, because my computer wouldn’t download it, but now I’m on it everyday, helping out in various studios and just trying my best to make Scratch a Better place! My Scratch Contributor journey was inspired by @cozylemon and @Paigeri in the ‘Endangered Animals’ SDS. They were so kind and seemed so happy, I knew I had to join! So, I started helping out in the Endangered Animals, then came back in the “In the Air” I officially became a curator in the Colourless.

I was having so much fun, so I had to expand! I joined the SMC and FPCAH studio! It was only a few weeks ago that I became a manager of the Scratch Contributors, and now I teach people who would like to help out ! So, I know this is pretty long, but I’m just trying to say, you can be anything if you put your mind to it! I fully recommend being a scratch contributor.

I am dertermenter, and I contribute mostly in suggestions but also visit questions about scratch and new scratchers, which is where I have my only stickie. I forum as it’s fun - enough said. I am also a recent hater of the support convention. I have quite a well known PFP and I am a member of TFH. On scratch but outside the forums, I make car crash projects but they are still great banter or fun… hopefully. Outside of scratch, I like playing football (soccer) and play for a local club. I also know css, html and JavaScript. I am trying to make a sport website. I hate snap!

I contribute on the Scratch website by making projects and studios. I am also an editor on the Scratch Wiki. Additionally I sometimes browse the comments of the the Scratch Welcoming Committee! studio and help answer questions and chat with new Scratchers.

I contribute to Scratch because I not only enjoy using Scratch to make projects, studios and to intereact with the community, but I also want to help contribue to this awesome site. It taught me a lot about the basics of coding, and has provided me with an awesome online community to be a part of.

I say ‘was’ because I’m not really that active any more on this account and I’m just kind of having my own fun on my other account, @landofgreenandgold. I liked contributing because it feels like I’m helping others out even if they don’t say it directly to me. I enjoy gaming and violining and inventing new words apparently.

I was a founding member (or at least an early member) of the forum helpers, but I haven’t gone on the forums here in a while.

I keep wanting to get back into things here, but it’s been a while, you know? I suppose now I just contribute to Scratch by logging in and answering whatever comments I’ve gotten, especially since the forum button was removed from the top bar (how long ago was that, anyways?)

I contributed to the welcoming committee back when I joined this site as a member of a coding class as well.

Like cs156175, I'm a formerly active Forum Helper, and I only check in here occasionally.
