Scratch 3.1
Version 3.0. is known for not bringing many new features, but this was due to the hurry to build a system in HTML5, as Flash was going to end (RiP btw), but now that everything is done, I think it is a great time to do a minor update, and in the meantime take a look at the forums to see what to implement, including new blocks and features.

If you want us to suggest here, then I think this counts as a list of suggestions.

Support. I think that scratch needs an update. It was rushed.
Nothing here.

Scratch 3.1
If Scratch 3.0 was only made to stop using Flash, then 1.) why did development start before Flash was announced to end and 2.) why did they bother creating a whole new interface from scratch?
Also, this suggestion is very vague. What do you mean by just “make 3.1”? Isn't that exactly like a Scratch 4.0 suggestion, or something like “update the website”?

I support. I kind of want to see something new on Scratch. And I've seen lots of good suggestions that could be added
I love: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Alice in Wonderland/Alice Through the Looking Glass, cats, Boba Fett, and A Seires of Unfortunate Events!!!
I hate: bullying, false reporting, hate, Obi-Wan and Han Solo, and huskies
I'm: female, weird, and VERY crazy (and Boba Fett's biggest fan)

I don’t see what you are suggesting. What new blocks? What new features?
All suggestions are unnecessary. If a suggestion is necessary then it's a bug report.

I am suggesting that the Scratch Team take a look at the suggestion forum and add new things. What things do you ask? ST will decide what to add. The point is to be vague, it is only to suggest that they work on a new version. what are you suggesting we do? this is one of the most vague OPs i've read.

what do you think the devs are doing? this is what the ST is already doing. the ST is already working on fixing bugs and adding features. they don't need us to tell them to do that.

I just don't want what happened with version 2.0 to happen: 7 years without big updates.I am suggesting that the Scratch Team take a look at the suggestion forum and add new things. So basically you're re-suggesting the suggestions that have already been made?I am suggesting that the Scratch Team take a look at the suggestion forum and add new things. What things do you ask? Also I think the offline editor is past version 3.1 by now

/hj is the worst tone indicator. It's confusing and ambiguous. I hate it. The point of tone indicators is to indicate tone, or the way that a piece of text should be read, but what does “half joking” mean? Do you just wake up in the morning and think “wow, I really have something I want to talk about seriously but also kinda not, IDK you decide.” It's useless. I hate it. It just provokes a deep rooted anger within me whenever I see it. People just comment /hj as if it makes any sense. It doesn't. Oh wow, it's a tone indicator that's has a relative meaning, how useful, I'll use it in every comment I post. NO. STOP IT. You're a tone indicator, you have only one job, and yet you sit there doing nothing apart angering me.
/srs
^^^ (there's more below)
This one is useful because it tells you that this signature is fully 100% serious. (/srs) Who would've thought that tone indicators needed to tell you something about the piece of text they're attached to? /s
I'm serious, I'm not even going to put multiple (/hj)s a the end of my signature as to mock the previous paragraph for not getting the point of something(like previous version of my signature). /srs

being greedy and shutting down flash because it doesn't give them money.[/slightly offtopic]Even as someone who really likes Flash games, that's not what happened at all. [slightly offtopic]I think that we'd still be in a version of 2.x if it weren't for adobe
Disagree. Maybe it isn't in terms of available blocks, but a lot of miscellaneous things got huge overhauls. 3.0 isn't really too different from 2.0

Well, we're always working to improve Scratch. I'm not sure what the current development priorities are, or our exact versioning scheme, but I think focusing on the .1 is perhaps not the point. If the suggestion comes down to asking us to add more features, that's hugely dependent on what resources we have and the direction we want to go with Scratch. I'm not sure that's a discussion that's really relevant to this forum.I am suggesting that the Scratch Team take a look at the suggestion forum and add new things. What things do you ask? ST will decide what to add. The point is to be vague, it is only to suggest that they work on a new version. what are you suggesting we do? this is one of the most vague OPs i've read.
