Feature Idea: Allow certain people to edit your original project
Feature Idea
Alright here is my idea that popped into my head recently. What if there was some button that would allow you to select someone to be able to edit and modify your own project. I do not mean this by creating remixes, but changing the original project. This could be useful in collaboration. In my personal opinion, I like this idea. Do you support this idea?

No support. Just tell them to remix it. Then take the changes from the remix and add them to the original project, either by using the backpack or downloading the remix and uploading it to your own account.

Support, this would be an amazing way to develop a game with your friends without random people remixing your projects.

This sounds like a good way to develop collabs and other things, but I feel like this could be a way to get around unmoderated chat? Not sure, but the ST probably has some reason this doesn't exist yet
Edit: On second thought, although I support this, this could be a way when someone trusts another Scratcher, they could give them abilities, and let's say their friendship didn't end on good terms. Then that person can go grief their project and ruin it. That could be a possible problem.

Sorry, this is rejected:
2.1 Adding users to work on projectsIn the future, please check the The Official List of Rejected Suggestions before making a topic
Having multiple Scratchers work on the same project would be difficult to moderate not only due to technological limitations, but also because it could lead to private messaging; for more information, see #7.1 on this list. This suggestion includes live editing (similar to Google Docs) and other forms of private collaboration. If you would like to work on a project with another Scratcher, you can remix each others' projects.

I think that this would mostly be used for vandalism, because you seem to imply that this would be open to literally everyone. If not, then this is a duplicate of the suggestion for turn-based collaboration. If you want to improve a project or someone wants to improve your project, you or they can just make a remix.

Feature Idea: Allow certain people to edit your original project
This has the problem of not knowing who is responsible for the content of the project, if it turns out to be something that is inappropriate. Or even something that somebody else wants to reuse and credit. There are also concerns with unmoderated communication taking place using the elements of the project (notes, costumes, scratchblocks, etc.). For these reasons, I think it is likely that this won't be implemented.
