yeah i like the old one too, its simple, shows you your new messages, and gets its job done, on the other side of things, the new one looks nice, does not show which messages are new, and, messages take up even more space, so you cant just see your messages, you have to keep scrolling! honestly the only thing i really care for about the new message page is that there are more ways to sort your mail, but, its not worth it!

People still complain because they can't count their messages? Why does that matter?

Just need to point out:

• You've said the new messages were way too cluttered AND less compressed at the same time, which I'm pretty sure cancel each other out.
  
• Every message states the time it was made.
  
• They've added the filter, made to separate the messages.
  

I'm still waiting for a decent reason to support this topic right now.

I understand. However, I think they should bring back the old messages page, but with filters.
