How to make a cool signature?
Hi guys, it's BladePixel here!
So I have been looking at the scratch forums recently and saw that every scratch forum member had a thing below their comment or post on a forum called a signature. I saw that they had cool text and a image saying their name and I thought that I wanted to do the same thing too! So I scrolled down to the forums and clicked on make a signature but I wasn't too sure how I could put an image in and how I can put cool text and other stuff. So if you guys know how to do something like that, please tell me! Help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

you can use the
tags to insert an image, but the image linked to must be from an approved image hosting site.

As shown above, you can use the img tag to put the URL of the image you want to use. The approved image host that's most used by the community is Cubeupload, which while it does require an account, you can just drag, drop and upload an image, copy the URL and then paste that inside the img tags, or put it in automatically by clicking on the picture frame icon next to the link above the message box.

Images: To put an image in a forum post, you need to upload it to one of the approved image hosts, and then use the “direct link” in an img tag. For example, this:
produces this result:
This is the approved list of image hosts, according to the wiki:
Fancy Text: The toolbar in the New Reply box allows you to bold, italicize, underline, strikethrough, grow, or shrink text by clicking on the icons. But there is one formatting option that is not listed there, which is the color tag. Color tags allow you to insert a color name or a hex code to make the text any color you want. It also supports the argument “transparent”, which produces text that is always invisible until selected. For example, this:
produces this result:
Red, Blue, and (Invisible)
As for how I got the code boxes where I wrote out the markup, that can be made with the code tag, like so:
As a final note, you can make an image into a clickable link. IIRC, it is done by surrounding a url tag with an image tag.
Hopefully this helps you to make your signature what you want it to be.

I would recommend CubeUpload at the moment, but its long-term reliability is questionable because of financial issues. photobucket.com (costs money)
cubeupload.com (used by most Scratchers, however a recent policy change means that users now have to register an account to upload images)
imageshack.com (requires users to register an account to upload images)
imageshack.us (users have to register an account to upload images)
