A CAPTCHA to Solve when Creating an Account. Near 100% Support! Over 20 Supporters!

Support, but instead, how about a voice says “press space when you the drum is hit”, and there's a picture of a drum that makes a drum sound when it gets hit, and you have to press space whenever you hear the sound or see that it has been hit. There's also the instructions the voice gave above the drum. That way anyone can use the captcha.

Hmmm, but that wouldn't work on people who's hearing is disabled

This is my signature. It appears after I post anything! (I added this for people who thought I was advertising)
and now i have finally removed that line of links, a lot don't work anyway after I unshared a bunch of projects
Oh look a rainbow (I wanted to make my whole signature a rainbow, but busted character limit)

Maybe a captcha that shows a sprite or two, and you are asked what's going on in the image.

Example:

What is Gobo standing next to?

  • Pencil
  • Watermelon
  • Apple

I find this type of captcha very intuitive and easy to use. As shown in the image, you simply match the answer choice with the character's name that is on the photo itself.
We can easily substitute this for sprite characters that Scratch uses, and put the sprite's name on it.

Accessibility options for the hearing impaired may be needed but so far I haven't come up with ideas. Anyone else have some?
Why would more accessibility options be needed for the hearing impaired? I myself am hearing impaired, and I'm not quite sure why a CAPTCHA that needs visual to solve would need more options to help with sound…?
Also, I support this, spam bots are very annoying… and basically every other reason already spoken in this thread.
I think they meant visually impaired, which (in)conveniently I am…
Yeah, my bad. I meant visually impaired.
Still, anyone have suggestions for those who have such impairments?

IMO, there should be a voice that automatically says alternative instructions for the visually impaired
Upon verification start
“If you are visually impaired, please press *button* to access the CAPTCHA for the visually impaired. If you do not want to complete this CAPTCHA, please click the ”Verify“ button on-screen instead.”

We can't use that as Google is blocked in China, which includes that particular CAPTCHA.

Agreed! It would be a great way to prevent robots, spam accounts, and sketchy software.

I support! This feature would add an extra security layer.
I have one that might be hard for bots to crack:
Select all the blocks with both a 6 and 2 in them. If there are none, click skip.

It can't due to the large number of Scratchers from mainland China, since the CAPTCHA you're talking about (reCAPTCHA) uses images from Google (and I think is owned by Google as well?). reCAPTCHA is effective against spambots though, since it's sometimes hard for people to do the puzzles, like what you've done.

So how much out would count as correct
Because it's impossible that the human being's reactions are that fast.
Also, the bot could pick up the audio and bypass the captcha.
