I made a icon in the Scratch Paint Editor in vector then saved it to a PNG. Then I went to my profile and tried to change it. But Scratch said that it was not able to use it as my icon. I thought maybe that the platform was not a type that Scratch could use, so I tried a JPG and a SVG. But that didn't work either.
Why is this happening? I asked my brother ( @Sam1306 ) what was wrong but he said:

I won't help you.

Then later he did come to help.
Then he just said to make the image as big as I can then save it. But that made no sense because Scratch would shorten it and that would make it look weird. It's like a cycle of stuff making no sense like this :

I just don't get this. Does anybody know what is happening and how I can make it accept my image?

Well, in Scratch its 193x161 and the file size is: 8,484 bytes.

Scratch images doesn’t work if over 999KB and sometimes is a loading or reading bug, try again

Does it have to do something with bitmap? Its not over 999kb

I'd host the image on an image hosting site and save it from there, and then use said image in your profpic. My profpic is from Flight Rising, and it worked (it had to be hosted on FR itself because if you open the image in a new tab the icon has the little flight rising icon on it).

.gif is a link to explorer but it work
