Project not loading and how to reproduce the bug

There's a bug which causes projects not to load, here's how to reproduce it.

1. Create a project
2. Close or leave the page before the project loads
3. Open up the project again, the following error message should appear in the project window:

This might just be a problem with my computer but I have seen the message a couple of times on other projects which weren't created by me
My browser / operating system: Windows Vista, Firefox 31.0, Flash 11.9 (release 900)

Yep - nice description of the steps to reproduce!

I closed the tab before it finished loading and now have a corrupt project in my MyStuff.

However, I did not find that just clicking away from the project as it was saving would cause the bug - can you verify?

By leaving the project I meant clicking the back arrow and leaving the page, just switching to a different tab doesn't do anything

Yeah, I think there are quite a few ways you can cause this - essentially, any time you interrupt it in the middle of a save.

I've got a few projects where people have tried to make remixes, and totally failed, because the project has lots of data (long lists), so takes a while to save - and people don't realise it's still saving, or give up, and so go off to something else, and end up corrupting the project…

Here are a couple of examples (see some of the remixes of below):

Especially the second one above, ‘cos that creates really long lists after the project runs, so people end up trying to save all that data when creating a remix…

I guess when a project is in the process of being saved, it shouldn’t be overwriting any of the original files until the whole lot has successfully finished saving. Dunno how easy that is to implement. though?
