I just need help.
I stated an opinion in discuss and I was talking about something that was important to me. A couple people dissagreed and they just kind of hurt my feelings with the way they were saying it. I wasn't trying to be mean I was just very stuck to my own opinion. I told them to please stop saying I'm wrong because it's an opinion and one of them told me that my topic could be deleted by the Scratch Team for saying it. Now I just honestly feel like I'm in trouble for some reason, you know? It just seems like those people are mad at me for having an opinion. It was also a suggestion and people were being ungrateful and telling me they disagree with it. I just don't know if I'm supposed to say something back or what I'm supposed to do. I am sorry if this is a waste of your time.

This forum is actually for questions, not opinions, but the best thing to do is just let it go and move on.

Don't ever let yourself get entangled in endless loops about whether you are right or wrong. If you 100% believe you are right, then you don't need anybody to agree with you, although it feels much better if they do.

But it's probably best to realize there are always some who agree and some who disagree and you don't need to get angry with the ones who disagree. They are entitled to their opinion as much as you are to yours.

However, this forum is not for opinions. It's for asking questions about how Scratch works.

If somebody is actually being aggressive - i.e. attacking you, you should report their post and let the Scratch Team deal with it.

However, it is important to not mistake an attack on your idea to an attack on yourself - the point of the suggestions forum is to discuss ideas and so people will attack a suggestion they see as either unnecessary or harmful.

Part of making suggestions on Scratch involves being open to ideas. There might be some people that agree with your suggestion, but then there might be some that won't. There's nothing wrong with saying that you disagree with a suggestion (and vice versa).

But of course, its important for users to be respectful when giving their inputs on a suggestion. So if you think someone is being disrespectful, please use the report button to let the Scratch Team know about it.

Can you give me a link to this topic? If I know what you said, maybe I can see if these guys are lying. Unfortunately, Scratch is full of corrupt users who enjoy scaring and disagreeing other, less experienced Scratchers. If you're sure you haven't posted anything inappropriate to them, the best thing you can do is report the post that they said mean things in, and let the Scratch Team handle it. If you did, you could maybe comment to their profiles saying how you got a bit ahead of yourself and that you're really sorry, and maybe they'll forgive you.

If you make a suggestion, people are allowed to disagree. If the disagree is mean, than report it.

I agree you have a right to have an opinion but so do they.

People disagree about suggestions all the time. They all have different opinions. It isn't being ungrateful or unthankful as agreeing with a suggestion isn't really being grateful for it, is it?
