Support. Sometimes people don't read the description.
But I really want there to be restrictions. “Go away” is kinda rude, and users might just put things like this:

No Support. This would seem kind of rude and would also confuse New Scratchers.

I mean, it would be rude if someone told you to “Go away”, right?

Besides, you can always disable the comments section in projects.

It seems like you are misunderstanding the suggestion. The three images in the OP were examples of what a user could write in the commenting addition. The 3rd one (“Go away.”) was to show the report button on the additions, not something that could be a choice to put in the addition.

It seems like you are misunderstanding the suggestion. The three images in the OP were examples of what a user could write in the commenting addition. The 3rd one (“Go away.”) was to show the report button on the additions, not something that could be a choice to put in the addition.

I still don't get it, can someone explain to me why it would say, “Go away” and then you would report it, if the user chooses to make it say that?

No, we don't users writing those sorts of things. In fact, the Scratch Team could add “Go away.” to the blacklist right away if they are going to implement this suggestion.

I used to be active on the forums, but I have mostly moved past Scratch. I still do check my Scratch messages, so if you'd like to talk to me, just leave a comment on my profile. My main project on Scratch was Cookie Clicker, but my newest project is Snake Snake, a game based off of Snake, but with two snakes, and you can play either singleplayer or multiplayer.

It'd be like restrictions for all other things. A bad word detector, moderation, whitelist of things you can say and blacklist of things you can't say, etc.

Basically, the “go away” thing was just an example of someone reporting it, because it's not allowed. That's sort of it.

So, yeah, not supporting because you think it's rude… That's what the report button they showed is for.

If this were to be added, it would be a good idea to be able to report the message somehow.
