Like, why do we need a list of the rejected suggestions?
So if someone makes a suggestion and it's been rejected, we can point them to this topic and they get an explanation as to why the ST rejected their suggestion previously?

I think that there should be a setting to whether or not somebody can look inside of your project. The reason why is because people might want to steal other people's sprites and also cheat on certain games. Instead of playing legitly, they just change the amount of money they have instead of fully enjoying the game. Basically, before a person shares a project, there should be an option that asks the person if they want to lock “see inside” or enable it.

What are Custom Reporters?
A reporter is one of the rounded blocks that fits into string / number inputs. For example:
(direction)
(timer)
(variable)
([abs v] of (-13)::operators)
Custom reporters are a suggestion to make custom blocks that return a value. For example:
define ((number::custom) to power of (number2::custom))
set [out v] to [1]
repeat (number2::custom)
set [out v] to ((out) * (number::custom))
end
report (out)::custom//wanted to make this a cap but couldn't figure it out
Then you can use that custom block to instantly report something.

Fixed

define ((number :: custom) to power of (number2 :: custom))
set [return v] to [1]
repeat (number2 :: custom)
set [return v] to ((return) * (number :: custom))
end
report (output) :: cap custom

Potential for bullying? Well why not take down the forums then?

Because reporting is a thing.

You can report projects too.

Mine is just a simple one: Can you allow the renaming of lists? It's annoying to delete the list entirely because of misspelling, mislabeling, or some other reason when you could just have the ability to rename them just like you can with variables.

I think you could improve Scratch by adding a folder inserter into the ‘costumes’ section so you can choose which costumes you can add to it; For example, I want a jumping animation and a walk cycle. Instead of having to switch to costumes for every frame, you could put them into two folders, ‘Walk’, and ‘Jump.’ Then you could choose ‘Play all costumes in folder ’Walk,' from the costumes tab. I think that would be really cool if you could add it.

Please do not post suggestions in the sticky: you can create your own topic for the suggestion to get more accurate feedback for your idea.

Will all of our progress from the games that we've made be changed and can you possibly make a feature to Scratch so we can use 2.0 to code instead of 3.0? Or just have a way to set up how the editor looks (ex. the same set up for 2.0 on 3.0)

They at least need a backpack lock so people can't just swipe parts so they need to put in the effort of recoding what they want, that is the only way to learn how things work.

“Too scary for younger players” - FNAF

I have no words.

I'm serious, this was an actual problem?
A horror game and Scratch type remakes, being too scary?
At this point, you might as well add the rule to consume ALL of the horror genre.

Why FNAF to be banned out of all things, and not the rest of the horror genre?

Well time to make a Raycast version of Slenderman before that restriction is expanded.
FNAF is targeted mostly because it is the most popular one on Scratch. When one suggests that FNAF should be banned, they generally mean the horror genre as a whole.
