dont just say “dont ban evade” or “wrong topic” for a question. answer it, and THEN tell them that this is the wrong topic or not to ban evade. giving just “rejected” and putting the college essay that is TOLORS is not enough. Explain! dont just use ctrl-c ctrl-v! even if it is not what some people want, explain the rejection! answer the question! the forums are not a place to repeat others, they are a place to innovate! anyway who wants to minimod?

scratchers on the forums from 10-500 posts have at most, a 7 short sentence span for replies. if you cant keep your posts in this range, then dont act suprised when someone asks for simplified version

Not sure if I understand your concern quite right, but this could be fixed by caching the name of the project for at least an hour or so..?

If someone puts, let's just say, an ID of 1003349877, the owner of 1003349877 can control what is displayed on that project. That could be abused by the owner of that project.

It would be way easier to find the project by it's URL rather than it's name though. Names change (and the indexer don't work sometimes) but the URL stays.

The ID is the number at the end of the URL, that's what is being used to find the project. Behind the scenes, it's performing an http GET request to the project with the ID in the block's input- so, for example:

(project [1]'s name :: sensing)

is (likely) going to
https://api.scratch.mit.edu/projects/1
and finding the “title” key, and reporting the value of “title”.

Also, this could lead to chatting via changing the project's title repeatedly. To prevent this, it would use the Scratch API (what I linked above), which returns

{"code":"NotFound","message":""}

when the project isn't shared, and also a limit of changing the title of shared projects at a maximum of once per day, if the project is shared (because if it's unshared the block would just report “project not found”)
