Hi, I am Relyks_ New scratcher and what a better way to start off with a suggestion for the profile page .
Profile backgrounds, I would love to see the community's idea on this.

So how this would work:
Instead of a deafult white background on your profile you could upload a different background. You could make it so scratchers and above have this ability. It gives a profile more quality. To upload you need a background that can fit the whole page. So quite a big picture, just smaller than the background on the desktop.

What do you think about this? To remind you i accept any of disagreements and and other ideas aswell! Ohh and i also think that you can only upload imageshack pictures? You need to fix this..

No Support. Also, you can use Cubeupload and Tinypic for hosting images as they are allowed (just don't use tinypic BTW).

No support, different screen resolutions will mean different appearances on the profile page, what if the image is larger than your screen resolution? What if its smaller? Resize? Crop?

I support, this would be really cool, (I am only posting in a topic this old because this suggestion was suggested recently and then marked as a duplicate) Maybe also gifs?

they could just have a small maximum image size

And would also probably take up way too much space. It would be too visually distracting.

1. I was going to say that this topic was a duplicate of this topic because of the considerable amount of posts, but the topic was made later than this one.
2. Gifs would likely be too distracting, and would use up a lot of storage, especially if you're planning to have a high resolution background.

I definitely support, but this has definitely been suggested before, not sure where, but it's been suggested before, as you can see by a page on the wiki
