What you want it to take place after episode 6? Do u also know all of the actors are old? What do u mean too futuristic? I can tell you not a normal SW fan cuz it is spelled C-3P0

Can you actually like BE QUIET.
The only people who didn't enjoy it are people who don't understand/haven't seen/don't get/don't appreciate Star Wars.
And thanks a dang lot for coming in here and posting spoilers that I can't flippin delete. Don't be one of those. Have some respect for the other people who haven't seen the movie and actually ENJOYED it. I have said so many flipping times not to post spoilers and guess what the first thing you do is!?!? Seriously!!!
The Force Awakens was actually a flippin amazing movie…not as good as the originals but it was still amazing and definitely worth watching. Definitely not close to as bad as the prequels in my opinion.

Okay this doesn't even make any sense. What do you think sci-fi and just Star Wars itself is about? Have you watched any of the other movies? They're just as futuristic and sci-fi-ish as this one.

Maybe because Luke is only in the movie for about 20 seconds and the whole movie is about trying to find him in the first place?

“New people”

So you expect all of the characters to be the exact same and for no new ones to be introduced? Do you really want to see 2 and a half hours of old characters who we already know everything about?

“R2-D2 is not on any new adventures. Neither is C3-PO.”

I don't understand why 2 droids are so pivotal in making the movie good, even if they are great characters.

Not if you know how to read. The beginning is summed up through a 3 paragraph summary of what's happening, just like every other Star Wars movie.

Everyone's saying “Omigosh, it's too futuristic!” when it actually takes place A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. What we saw happened in the past, and it's so futuristic, cause obviously different places in the universe will have different paces of getting futuristic…it's a flippin SCI-FI movie…sci-fi movies are futuristicy right? Even though it is from a long time ago! It happened FAR, FAR away…amiright? Like I said, way out there they'd have their own ways of doing things.
