When Luke originally said that, it was the middle of episode 6, before Darth Vader died. So maybe someone forgot to edit it before putting it in the trailer?

Well, when you die in star wars, your life force is released… and you know when Ben Kan-obi dies, he keeps coming back to help Luke, sorry, can't type anymore to explain wish I could.

Ahsoka was already killed in the Clone Wars animated series I think? And if not, she had to have died because she would've been in episode 3 but wasn't.

She isn't dead, remember, she left the order in late season 5 to early season 6
