About Us

At the 28 December 2022 Myscratchedaccount loved coding. He made an idea and went on forums and clicked requests.

Now this shop formed!

This shop was made when Scratch 3.0 was the current version of Scratch.

Coding Hut is a shop that does coding, art, and many more! For more than 3 years, we have been helping Scratchers as well as New Scratchers with lots of Scratch-related things.
Coding Hut was founded by @MyScratchedAccount on Dec. 27, 2022 20:53:31.

We are happy to see you and give you great service

When there is an activity check, you will need to reply active to be considered active. You will need to do so before the dedicated time.
People on vacation don't count towards this rule. If you don't respond you will get one of these punishments - strike, warning, activity warning.

Partners

Your shop must be appropriate and follow the Community Guidelines, or else your shop partnership will get 5 partner strikes and your shop partnership will be revoked and your shop will be removed from the partner list and your shop will be banned from partnering until it's appropriate.
Your shop must be at least 3 days old to partner.
If you don't respond to a Shop Activity check, which will at different times as Staff Activity Checks, so they are separate, your shop partnership will receive a partner strike.

Web Hosting Services

Get web hosting, you will get a website link like https://scratch-coding-hut.netlify.app/sites/YOURSITEURL/home (YOURSITEURL will turn into the url you chose.) Don’t worry, we won’t put lots of Coding Hut ads on your website, we will only put credits in the footer of the website. You can update your website anytime. And we don’t remove websites for no reason, and if Coding Hut shuts down we will keep your websites (Coding Hut will probably not shut down anyway). Also the website we make is free, forever!

You can request a website by using the normal request form, but say you want Website Hosting, and say the site subdirectory you want. Then describe what website you want, what pages you want and you can also provide HTML. Are you a developer? If you are a developer you can also make pull requests for your website content on GitHub to update your site content, but still using our premium quality hosting services. Not a developer? You can always come back here and request an update, or if you have dynamic content, update it directly.

Limits And Rules:

• It must follow the Coding Hut Rules, the law, the Community Guidelines, the Scratch TOS and the Scratch Privacy Policy. Failure to meet this requirement will get you reported, and even banned. And If it breaks the law Scratch will file a lawsuit on you.
  
• You can upload up to 3GB, but if you are a famous scratcher or making it on behalf of a famous shop (with permission), you will get a lot more storage.
  
• We cannot host Wordpress, but we can try making a blog for you as well if you want
  
• There is a limit of 10 pages (excluding the main page and files), and like the upload space but for pages, if you are a famous scratcher or making it on behalf of a famous shop (with permission), you will get unlimited pages (blog posts and dynamic content doesn’t count)
  
• Do not link to emails, and social networks.

Tips: The order delivered was as expected, a few things could be improved, though. The turret is referred to as a tower, but so is the Tower, which is your base. Some instructions are helpful, others are just stating the obvious. The towers don't rotate, the bullet host sprite does, and it's visible for whatever reason. As for how it works, it's functional, like it should, works as I hoped. But why am I limited to one turret? Considering the fact it fires and kills slow enough I could code the engine myself (not an offense I promise), I could at least have another turret to back me up. Finally, why is there colour sensing? Someone will probably create a new costume or different sprite to add variation, then wonder for several hours trying to find a bug before finally realising it was colour sensing and not sprite sensing all along. This feels a little too bare-bones. Other than that, it works. I'd rate it a 14.

As for the other orders I was supposed to view, I can't find many and they aren't that well done tbh, which I knocked a couple points off for, as well as for having my order redirected to another partner shop, but then the order was completed by someone who's staff in both shops. Seems like you're needlessly sending my order away despite perfectly capable staff being there to complete stuff. There's a lot of talking going on, and long, unsnipped quote chains. I can help with the order issue, as you can subscribe to ISOC and have orders sent to your shop if another can't do them. Problem is, everybody forgot about it. Maybe we could get some staff to manage it and let people know it exist?

The front page is… complicated. No directory, a lot of bloat and redundant stuff clog up the front page. It needs a rework to be honest. I could cut out a majority of the contents. There's also quite a few noticeable grammar, spelling and punctuation errors, just as an extra. I won't question why you're called the coding shop but also sell premium art, apparently.

Overall, I'd work on improving the shop's front page and primary posts as they need the most work. Simplify them and add a working directory. Clean up redundant info and style it with BBCode and colour. Orders can probably spare some extra time to improve quality, as a period of around 4-5 days is still quite fast.
