I know some people are really good with this stuff —- so please help!! I need to run neofetch, btw.
Seems like Norton Family or another content filter service to me. Try “–fix-missing” after the whole “sudo apt install neofetch” command.
Alright, I'll try that.

It says “read-only file system” though, I'm not quite sure that's the problem….

edit: more errors

Oh. This is a total shot in the dark, but did you run the command using sudo?

Yes, I did. I guess I have to figure out how to make it a writable filesystem…

EDIT: The command was
sudo apt install neofetch -y --fix-missing

My Windows 10 computer(HP Pavilion All-in-One) refuses to load due to a hard drive error.
It has an Intel i5 processor, Intel 630 HD Graphics GPU(well, it does have wrong brand drivers installed, AMD and NVIDIA drivers in terms of graphics), and a few external hard drives(8 terabyte Seagate, 2 terabyte SSD, and a 500-something-gigabyte USB flash drive)
For some reason, it also won’t bring me to the recovery page. It keeps trying to update BIOS, but doesn’t seem to wanna actually update it
I tried uninstalling the most recent quality update and it didn’t uninstall.
I ran some HP tests(i don’t remember its name) and the issue was the Hard Drive(all 3 tests)
I would have tried installing the iso file through the USB drive, but I wasn’t;t allowed to use a lap top to install the iso through a working asus lap top, and i would rather not use my iPad to try downloading the iso, cuz its School issued.
I would try Linux, but my aunt keeps demanding i use the spyware she pays for
Stop code: UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME
I suppose i should mention it happened a few hours ago, and i updated it last night.

It's latest update was iPadOS 12. Many apps support down to iPadOS 11. However not all!

If you want to use OneNote, for example, that only supports iOS/iPadOS 13 and up.

While Apple devices receive more software updates, Android devices can run more apps on older versions. Your out of luck with any app that requires iPadOS 13!

most Android apps run on Android 7.0 up.

My aunt really wants to be quite ‘careful’ with the computer(i suppose you can call it that), but the USB can;t be done til 11 tomorrow.
The hard drive is quite hard to replace, and my aunt doesn’t want any parts tp br changed. Ive been trying to load via an external hatred drive, but still have to download an OS(probably Linux) to it.

alright, ill try to figure something out

EDIT: Found a few forum posts elsewhere on the internet, may be promising
EDIT 2: “UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME” sounds like your drive may be corrupted, you could try to fix it by booting Linux off a USB (Ubuntu should do the job) and using a utility to fix the corruption. Will add more details later
EDIT 3: You might be able to use this guide to fix your drive

Whats your browser, graphics card, and are you using the online version, or app?
If possible, can you please show a screenshot?
Try refreshing your device, and ensuring your drivers are up to date if you’re on a computer.

What year, and can you show a picture of what happened? You can use your device camera to take a picture of it and put it in a project.

It's November 2022 now
Also the device should've received Android 12 by now, yet it's still on Android 11
