Actually, it doesn't matter if you have contributed or not in AspectOS in the old team
If you apply for the new team, it shows that you are ready to do tasks again. You will get accepted automatically when filling out a revival form

If I may add, although you will still be able to be in the old team, you won't be able to access Github, Glitch, Replit, and Figma things related to AspectOS.
