The sole purpose of a GUI is to present the user with a list of available options for what action(s) to perform next, and do so if the user chooses to do so.Padding is the best thing since rounded corners Related to recent GUI design (not sure where to put it here)…
…why does everything…
…need padding…
…this large?
In other words, looking good isn't a bad thing for marketing, but it should come second.

How those options are presented is very important. Many visual elements aren't simply decorative – for example, if a button is rounded and has a shadow, it's easier to see that it's a button. This is true. However, extreme amounts of padding on everything is overdoing it a bit.How those options are presented is very important. That would be absolutely hilarious to see, but also incentivize breaking the CGs at the same time. Fun fact: Padding was invented because mice would usually bite off the edge of a letter and make it not readable so they added spacing so if the mice ate the edges you can still read the letter

I'm maddddddd
Um, so basically I was getting proof that Windows 11 was really just reskinned Windows 10, I tried to open Control Panel from File Explorer. It froze once I did, so I closed it from the taskbar and then I tried to open Start, it was laggy so I opened it a buncha times. After a minute of opening and closing, it stopped, and then I randomly right-clicked my desktop.
Explorer crashed, then everything crashed, so I pressed Ctrl Alt Del and signed out. But when I tried signing back in, it said my account was “missing”? It then signed out, but the lock screen didn't load. No keyboard shortcuts worked, so I forcefully shut down my laptop.
And Windows didn't boot up. Not even the boot manager worked. I forcefully restarted the computer again, and this time, it worked! And believe it or not,
My account was reset. (Well, it loaded into a temporary account I think.)
I tried to open System Restore, so I attempted to open the recovery options by holding Shift when I clicked Restart in the Power Options. It didn't load. It instead started Windows normally, and when I signed in again to restart again, the temporary account was removed, and my stuff was back.
It was laggy for the next few hours, but now it runs fine. I switched to the Release Preview Channel from the Dev, and Microsoft should be ashamed. As of now, I'm running 26120.1542.
