I have a sister who is trained in yodeling and making pig calls; if you ever need either, I'm sure she'd be glad to oblige. I think she also plays the accordion.

I've downloaded the fl studio demo. Anyone know how to use it?
I've figured out making basic drum parts, and that a lot of stuff is accessed through channels-add one, but anyone know how to get a basic synthesizer with all the nice easy sliders like atk, decay, modulation, spectrum, wave type etc beyond there? Anyone know any good tutorials? I got it at the same time as my friend, and we're figuring it out bit by bit together (my accordion playing friend coincidentally)

Do you have any real instruments you can record? We'd prefer it to software instruments in most cases I think.

Oh yeah, plenty. I play saxophone, classical guitar, I have a small ancient keyboard, I have access to a slightly better keyboard, I also have a USB drum set which isn't very good, but it works a bit.
But the main ones that I actually have lessons in, know how to play, and have grade standards in are the sax and the guitar.

Some troubles i experienced (start with the good stuff)
I have no idea what the song's about, so i had no idea how to present it. I made it quite dark though.The closest i could come to a meaning in the song, or what it's about is what Steve jobs would feel like when looking down from heaven, (or more likely up, from hell) because he keeps coming up with new ideas but he can't share them with anyone.
I'm hoping/assuming you'll want to build on it.
I didn't use my real voice. That's not a real problem, but you should know anyway.
If you give me a secure email address to contact you with, i should (hopefully) be able to send you a WAV.

Used audacity, my own (but not normal or real) voice, and my guitar. All sounds heard in the song are limited to the later two of those things, and processed in the first.
Recorded through my new laptop.

Hey, pinni, I listened to your song and I thought it was really awesome. I liked how dark, atmospheric, and eerie it was, and I think we could probably make something out of that. I think it would be cool to cut it down to about a minute and a half and put it on the album as a sort of transitional track - sort of a prelude to whatever song comes after that. What do you guys think?

Yeah, sorry, I've just been sort of taking a break and hanging out with my family this Memorial Day weekend. But don't worry, I'll get back to recording as soon as it's over.

Don't think I haven't been doing nothing, though. I've continued working on that song I told you about, and I also created a Bandcamp page where we'll post our output in the future. You know, as soon as “Scuba Diver” is finished, we could release that as a single with “Procrastination” as a B-side.
