What’s a “Custom reporter”?
It's like a custom block (you know, the purple ones) but it's one of the rounded blocks that reports something.
That is…
custom stack block::custom

(custom reporter::custom)

set [variable v] to ((variable) to power of (2)::custom)//Example of how they might be used

And all the world over, each nation's the same,
They've simply no notion of playing the game.
They argue with umpires, they cheer when they've won,
And they practice beforehand, which ruins the fun!

FNAF isn't really outright banned, it's just the inappropriate projects (like projects with jumpscares) that are.

Which happens to be most FNAF projects, that's all.

Uh, how is that related to rejected suggestions?

3D scratch is already there, if that's what you're saying.

12. A 13+ version of the website

Scratch is designed for all ages, and dividing the community would not really help anybody.

If people want to make projects inappropriate for children on this website then they should instead use a real coding language. That way they can do anything they want.

Edit: changed the real to real

Not sure if I like the use of the word “real” highlighted with text effects. I get that Scratch isn't a “real” language per se, but it's still a programming language (just a very easy to use one).

No, he's saying that server blocks should be added to the list of rejected suggestions, not to Scratch.

I want to explain that changing your username would be hard since unlike youtube where the link to a channel is a random code like uehbGD76hjkl it is your username, also people can make their username be griffpatch or other famous scratcher and copy or remix all of his or her project and trick people even if you can't change your username to a username that is a already taken and as it says above it would make it harder for the scratch team to moderate.

A reporter is one of the rounded blocks that fits into string / number inputs. For example:
(direction)
(timer)
(variable)
([abs v] of (-13)::operators)
Custom reporters are a suggestion to make custom blocks that return a value. For example:
define ((number::custom) to power of (number2::custom))
set [out v] to [1]
repeat (number2::custom)
set [out v] to ((out) * (number::custom))
end
report (out)::custom//wanted to make this a cap but couldn't figure it out
Then you can use that custom block to instantly report something.

I was requesting to make a suggestion rejected, not to add the feature to the site.

I think the username changes are doable; assigning each unique profile a “user ID” which remains static allows the ST to moderate easily, and Scratchers don't have to create new accounts just to change username.

I personally think Scratch should ban FNAF. Scratch is a community open to all ages. Before you start saying “But kids who'll get scared should use Scratch Jr.!” Listen to this:
A 7-year-old who does not know about Scratch JR could be on scratch, casually browsing projects, suddenly to see something that could haunt their dreams forever. Any aged person could be looking at these, so we should keep this community open to all ages, as it's supposed to be. Scratch is for sharing fun codes to inspire, not to scare. We should help make this community a better and more flexible place.
If you have an opposing opinion, feel free to reply. If you share my opinion, please reply as well. I'm curious to see how many people support and do not support this matter.
Of course, no offense intended to those who want FNAF to stay.
I think that they really should. So we can't post projects that are too scary, but FNAF is still allowed? I don't think we should fully ban FNAF. I only think that we as a community should be stricter on what applies to being too scary. Furthermore, I think that a simple ban of jumpscares our screenshots from the game should be good in my opinion. If projects are too scary for some ages, it doesn't belong on Scratch. And about going to Scratch JR, Scratch JR is unadvanced even for my little sister. She joined regular Scratch instead. @Stitchy-Glitchy. Scratch JR is almost impossible to make anything decent with. Scratch is generally for kids 8+, but should still be appropriate for a slightly younger audience. What we should really be thinking about banning is mentioning anything about adult TV shows such as Rick and Morty and Family Guy. Kids will look up these shows and watch them on sites such as Youtube although them being innapropriate for their age.
That is a very good point! Especially with the adult shows content.

I also think they should ban the topic of games such as Yandre Simulator, I haven't played it, but I heard the plot is crazy gruesome.
Agreed.
