need for speed most wanted (2012), which is one of the most hated need for speeds (i personally think its one of the best) was originally supposed to be a direct sequel to need for speed most wanted (2005) but it was scrapped late in development, most likely due to time constraints or ea being greedy. this game was planned to have a story, garages, a massive map, weapons, and greater autolog capabilities but instead we ended up with what we got

Subnautica is riddled with scrapped content. There were a lot of creatures that were scrapped. One of them still kinda freaks me out. The sand worm. It was implemented with a mechanic similar to the crabsnake as it would attack if its habitat was disturbed.

Honestly, if that was implemented, I'd be on edge constantly in game A list of literally everything that was cut from game because yes

so it turns out that an animatic for the cancelled sony popeye movie was leaked onto the internet two years ago.

from what i skimmed through, it looks neat.

Lilo and Stitch was planned to release in 2001 with a scene of Stitch hijacking and flying a jumbojet through Honolulu's business district. Due to the scene resembling some tragic accident that happened the same year (which i can't talk about or i will get banned), the animators were forced to reanimate this scene. A few cutscenes were scrapped due to not being able to refit into the new theme. The scene can be seen here. (Why is the video YT Kids labeled?)

I'm not sure if this fits with the topic, but I think it's similar.

There is a childrens show that had this very short-lived opening that it only used from around 1996-1997(?), with a short-lived character named Penta, who was a star. Basically, the characters were brought to life through Penta's magic. The show doesn't mention anything about Penta anymore, so not much people who know the show actually know about Penta.

Here's the intro I'm talking about.

Oh, and in 1995, the shows pilot had a pink dog instead of a green one. (I'm not sure, I haven't seen the pilot, but saw a picture of it. I'm not sure if the pilot was found or not)
