Err, about the external server, I know that it is indeed a extremely neat piece of work, but why do we need it in this case? I wouldn't like the idea of 3 other people going after xouzouris for messing up their router…

No, however, it is a security risk to do so. Think twice before Portfowarding. Either create new IPv4 static IP and buy router, then port the other router with the other IP.

No, however, it is a security risk to do so. Think twice before Portfowarding. Either create new IPv4 static IP and buy router, then port the other router with the other IP.

Well now i've tried port forwarding but for some reason it doesn't work. Maybe it's because of my antivirus firewall protection. I dunno. But about the static ip, yeah i gotta get a static ip because i can't continuously be changing the address to match my computer. Jesus, this process is not as easy as I thought it would be.

We need our own server because scratch's cloud server isn't really all that great and also we so that we can distribute Scratchedia's content onto other platforms. (e.g. itch.io, gamejolt, e.t.c.)

Also thankfully I don't think i've messed up the router yet, it seems to be working fine.
