Why isn't he doing anything else? He's a major character in SW&SH. He's literally the main character's rival.

Also, has anyone noticed that near the beginning of the series Goh says he wants to catch Mew before anything else? Mew is literally the strongest Pokémon along with Mewtwo, and also, if you start with Mew, you won't be able to look forward to anything really big anymore.

He still hasn't done anything except cheer for Ash, and now he's gonna cheer for Leon so unless his companions come nobody's on Ash's side
