Replacing the <days to 2000> block

I think that the
(days since 2000)
block is pointless.
I have literaly only ever seen it once in a project and that was a chat bot that told you how many days since 2000 when you asked.

I think it should be replaced by a block like this
(days since [ day][ month][ year])
so you could choose the day month and the year. I think this would be great as it would allow scratchers to make project such as : 1000 days on scratch! or 3000 thousand days since scratch was founded

e.g
(days since [ 18][ 1][ 14])
(I joined scratch )

Do you know a good project that doesn't have a lot of attention? Suggest a project to be put in this studio that is unpopular.

Neutral. How about a MM/DD/YYYY? I'm used to that format.

One problem. All the projects using the block would be ruined. I've seen quite a few.

Maybe the standert setting of the block could be 01/01/2000. That's like it's now.

No support. This is easily worked around and may confuse beginners which format to put the date in.
((days since 2000) - ((365.25) * (14))) //Would give the amount of days since 2014

the month and day could be dropdown
support the mm/dd/yyyy format
also remember it will eventually be mm/dd/yyyyy

Replacing the <days to 2000> block

They only made it since 2000 because it doesn't require much programming, as the value that tracks that in programming is since 2000…

No support because of workarounds.
Even though that block has a workaround itself, but… Bleh.

I'd highly appreciate it if you were to follow me. Don't forget to go to my profile.

Does anyone know what a signature is? I mean, I've already seen 6-7 people get confused.

If you set it to a future date would it go negative? (Ex:“ ( Days since [30/05/2014 )” = -2 as of 28/05/2014 )
