Where do the music loops come from?
The credits page has lots of names and websites of where the music and sounds came from. I wanted to know what the full songs were like, so after like an hour of searching I found one of them! It's the full version of “Dance Sitar”. I was gonna look through more of the sources but there are way too many songs, and I thought there was probably already someone who had done that already.
So does anyone have any more sources on the rest of the loops in the music library?
Here's a list of what has been found so far.

Where do the music loops come from?
Seems like an interesting project to take on. Not sure how I'm going to be able to get the music from Adobe, but for anyone else wanting to take it on, here are links to Free Music Archive, Freesound and Kevin MacLeod and here's a full list of the music loops that exist in Scratch 3:
Since a lot of these samples are quite old (most of them go back to Scratch 1.x), if you can, I suggest searching for a date before around 2010.
I would also provide more help but it's Christmas rn so I'm busy :(

Where do the music loops come from?
Christmas time might have been a bad time to take on such a massive task lol, but if no one has done this already I think I'll continue searching. I'm worried though that many of the songs are in the public domain, and therefore not credited. Also, I'm definitely not gonna search through every single Kevin MacLeod song just to find, like, one that was used in Scratch.
I think I'll have more luck finding the more recent “dance” ones, and the new 3.0 sounds, than the ancient loops that have been there since the beginning. I'm also pretty sure one of the artists credited, Peter Rudenko, made the Emotional Piano song, since every other song he made is very similar in style.
Btw, did you make the Guitar Chords 2 sound?

no lol Btw, did you make the Guitar Chords 2 sound?
just referencing a meme
I can confirm an exact match for Enegertic Dance by furbyguy with Scratch's “Dance Energetic” though along with an exact match for Bossa Nova with Kevin MacLeod's Bossa Bossa, and Dance Sitar, which you've found yourself is also referenced there
Seeing as we've got links to the sounds that were added in Scratch 3, I now wonder where all the really old sound samples came from. I wonder if contacting any old ST members who were associated with the collection of default assets for the Scratch program could help.

Where do the music loops come from?
https://github.com/LLK/scratch-gui/pull/3385Thank you so much! All of the names in this list match with the credits page, so that probably means the really old sounds from 1.x didn't require attribution. The best way to find out where they are from would be to contact someone who was there. This is the answer:

“Medieval2” is “Underwater Trance” on this page.
“Cave”, “Drum”, “DrumMachine”, “Garden”, “Medieval1”, “Triumph” and “Xylo4” are probably also on this page, but I haven't found them yet.

Where do the music loops come from?
Hey guys, I found an MP3 file that contains a (probably) full version of cave. I found this from a now unshared project about the scratch LGBTQ and BLM emojis. I found this project from an old Scratch forum with the same topic. Opened the link with turbo warp before the update that DOSENT allow viewing unshared projects. Should I post a project with the sound?

Where do the music loops come from?
this page.It actually seems to be an edited version of that… I found the part that matches Medieval2 in that, but there's an additional instrument (I wanna say xylophone but I'm not 100% sure) present not in the Scratch version… It's possible it's a stereo file and only one of the tracks had that? (That page doesn't have a download option that I can find, so I can't check.) “Medieval2” is “Underwater Trance” on
The album is listed as “Sounds of Scratch 1.4” so is it possible it was written specifically for Scratch? Just guessing here. Scratch 1.4's metadata says it's by Beau Silver, but I can't find the original page where it's from.
Also bumping this

Where do the music loops come from?
(#19)According to the metadata, it was encoded with iTunes 6.0.2, which was released in January 2006. Scratch 1.0 was being developed around the same time, so it's quite possible that the song was made specifically for Scratch. The album is listed as “Sounds of Scratch 1.4” so is it possible it was written specifically for Scratch?
