Talk about lyrics from songs that you like for whatever reason - whether it be that they seem to speak to you in some way, they have a deep meaning, they're funny without context (or even in context), are just cool for whatever reason, are inspiring, or something else.

Rules:

No inappropriate lyrics. If you want to talk about an inappropriate song, you can, but don't talk about the inappropriate lyrics of the song.
Please don't spam/derail/argue/etc., I don't want this topic being closed for going offtopic.
Try to avoid discussing misheard lyrics you think are funny (in the context of “the misheard lyric (misheard lyric) is funny because (reason)”), but if you want to say something like “I kinda like the lyric (lyric) from the song (song), and I also think it's kinda funny how I often hear (misheard lyric) instead”, you can.

i'm pretty sure that there was another topic exactly like this, but i'm not 100% sure

anyway, my favorite lyrics and probably the most relatable ones are from jon brion's song here we go (to the point that i have it in my signature).

Since I haven't really said any of mine, here's one of my favorite song lyrics:

It's from “Little Fang” by Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks, if you were wondering. Honestly, though, I love the whole song, it has a very 60's-80's feel to it and kinda reminds me of Stranger Things for some reason, specifically the character Eleven.
Besides that, though, I feel like the song is about a kid who's different in some way and gets bullied a lot, but her friends tell her that she should be proud of her differences and to just be herself. Since I'm a “different kid”, that speaks to me quite a lot.
also the “your makers must have kissed in cosmic dust” part always sounded like something about dig dug which i thought was kinda funny for some reason
