Letters in Cloud Variables

do
(☁ score)

and put in the
<[] = []> block

it will give you the true symbol. also you can try, log of 0 witch will give you -infinity in your cloud variable

Inifinity, True and False work. Interestingly, NaN is not stored. See this project for some examples https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/249611997/

I found a way to set cloud variables to strings externally with any character in it… Has anyone else done it?

I did it too. It is actually possible. I am doing it in my Click the button if you like Scratch 3.0 project. The variable's hidden by the way. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/276841388/editor/

Your project uses a bug in Scratch 3 that doesn't actually do what it seems. Your characters aren't being saved to the server. I have a more detailed explanation here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/329250/

Here is a pretty complex code that will make a cloud variable save letters

This has nothing to do with hexadecimal. It's just a matter of setting it to a string. You can do it. It's possible. It just won't update on the Scratch server.
Back when I made this, letters were able to pass through to the server

You would have to host your own cloud server that allows letters then mod Scratch to use that cloud host; the official Scratch cloud server intentionally filters out non-digits

This is my signature. It appears below all my posts. Discuss it on my profile, not the forums. Here's how to make your own.
.postsignature { overflow: auto; } .scratchblocks { overflow-x: auto; overflow-y: hidden; }

Well, you can decode your characters
Just go from (A) to (Z)
then write [numbers], then the other (symbols).
That's it.

You have to do this code to break cloud data rule, you use the code below:

when green flag clicked
delete ( everything) of [list character]

You would add every letter in the list.
Now that is step 1 I will make a project about it ok.

Nope, it would think that it's another letter when it's the item greater than 9 because of the digits.
Like if it was item 10 then it would read like letter variable 1 and think it was item 1 and then do item 0 which does not work because there is no item 0 so it would think that it was A.
