I forgot which book it came from but a memorable event was while Roderick rented movies in order to not read the books on the summer reading list, he picked up “Lord of the Ring” instead of “The Lord of the Rings”.

No, I didn't read that one. I think it's probably “Dog Days” or “The Long Haul”.

It's DEFINITELY The Long Haul. I specifically remember it being from that book. (It's definitely not Rodrick Rules because that was the first one in the series I owned so I remember it extremely well)

I have Almost EVERY single book. I have Diary of a wimpy kid, rodrick rules, dog days, last straw, The ugly truth, Cabin fever, The third wheel, and hard luck. All i need is The long haul, and movie diary.

The new book is pretty good, tbh. I have the whole series, but my favorite was Hard Luck. 8)

Ah, this series.

I think my favorite one is The Long Haul, mainly because it introduces the pig and I like how it only has a few days in the book, unlike most Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.
