Tablets Vs. Computers

Which do you prefer? Why? Personally, I love both. I use tablets mainly for the forums on here and quickly searching something online instead of spending 3 minutes waiting for Windows to load. But I prefer computers and their software for more customizability, and for being more powerful systems. Post your thoughts! I heard the increase of tablets' popularity has slowed the sales of computers. But when it comes to big tasks, you'll want a computer.

Definitely computers.
They do more and are more powerful. Plus, my computer monitor is big, and I need that for what I am doing. Tablet screens aren't as big (some tablets can be bigger than computer screens, though). I also like the computer keyboards.
Most of what I do on the computer cannot be done on a tablet, so that's another reason why I like a computer better.

They have completely different purposes so it's hard to choose one, but overall I enjoy computers because I enjoy the layout more and the controls are more friendly to me.

Tablets Vs. Computers

I use both. I love how easy it is to type on my laptop compared to my tablet, but my tablet is much more portable. I use Scratch on both my tablet and my laptop, but Scratch+touchscreen does not = easy to use. I mostly use my tablet for web browsing and apps, but my laptop for bigger projects (such as typing this post)

I now like laptops better because of power and compatibility. However, I think things like the Lenovo Yogapad and MS Surface with their all-in-oneishness will become more popular.

My specs: Windows 8.1.2 - 3 GB RAM - Intel Core2 Quad - IE11

Sorta hard to compare the two. Tablets are meant for portability, which sacrifices power. Computers are more power, which sacrifices portability.

Laptop all the way. The macbook pro I'm on right now only takes a little over 10 seconds to boot to the login anyway, and maybe another 10 to open chrome. Tablets are great for portability though, and they're easier to browse the web on than a smartphone or ipod.

Laptops are the best. Laptops are like a cross between tablets and PCs. You can flip the screen around and fold it onto the computer to make it a tablet with some. They sometimes have a touch screen, and you can even get a stylus for certain brands. Laptops overrule both. THEY ARE DA BOWSES!!!

Computers FTW.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to emit a beacon of light from my seeing orbs.

In 2018, I asked the Scratch Team to remove all my forum posts to protect my privacy. That's why this post is blank. Besides, I've outgrown this website, and I don't want the dumb things I said in my late tween/early teen years to follow me around for the rest of my life. This post probably wasn't anything interesting or important, anyway.

Computers. Tablets are nice for some things, but overall I would use a computer if I was put up to a decision.

Laptop. It has the functionality of a computer, and the mobility of a tablet.

Computers because on tablets you cant play a lot of games that are avaliable on computers (like minecraft). Also, on tablets you cant use scratch (you can use the forums but not the editor). Plus tablets are tiny compared to most computer screens. Tablets are good for travel/vacations though, especially if you don't feel like hauling a laptop along.

You can use the scratch editor on a Android tablet. Sure, it definitely isn't touch optimized, but hey, it works.

Actually it's kinda crashy and block dragging doesn't seem to work.
