I wonder if any data which is currently on the site will become unavailable after the switch to the NGP. If likely then we've to archive stuff.

why would it not be available they'd probably keep the database on the same system just because it would be more difficult not to

From what Scratch team members have said, it sounds there there will be some backend and architectural changes to how the site works, so it sounds like there might be some sort of database migration.

When the NGP comes there will be a ton of data migration that might keep the site down for days, this website is stacked with information and is basically a infinite loop of projects and forum posts, and users too, view data, love data, star data, project data, profile data, its going to be a huge migration,

Alice and Bob.

each of them made their first projects on the same day.
the URL of Alice's first project would be /projects/Alice/1/. the URL of Bob's first project would be /projects/Bob/1.
these two projects are not the same.

if Alice had 10 projects, Alice's 10th project would be /projects/Alice/10/.
this logic works the same for Bob's 10th project.

Well, there's age verification for starters, and also some social media regulations designed for mainstream social media that might inadvertently affect Scratch.

If scratch gets age verification the scratch team will know what to expect, not only would that kill scratch it would also make people just move and get angry, I am pretty sure age verification is never coming to scratch, but if it is, scratch may lose a lot

If scratch followed normal social media rules it would of been abandoned years ago, and if it ever followed traditional social media rules like age verification and other stuff (which is very likely not going to happen as the majority of this website is literally children and its basically pointless and annoying to do that as well a s a privacy invasion which most likely violatees COPPA) but rest assured, this platform is most likely never getting age verification, if it does kids and others will immediately look for alternatives as they don't want a second roblox and that will instantly kill scratch and it's investors

Everybody hates age verification, including Roblox's age verification. So you are right, that will kill Scratch entirely. Also Scratch is special for 8 - 16 year olds, so why age verification?
