Support! If there's a pin limit like what @stickfiregames said, and only the owner can pin a comment, then it will probabily work out.
Especially with the advertising problem. Many scratchers advertising on random projects without nor checking the content OR reading instructions and credits. If you could pin a comment saying “please don't advertise”, they can't miss it since it's going to be the top comment.
It would also be good if the pinned comment was above the commenting section (where you type the comment). That way, you definitly can't miss it.

You could make a comment then close comments? No support.if you comment then close comments, people won't be able to to comment, right? But the purpose of stickied comments is to remind people about something before they comment.

What if, even if there was a limit, someone just spammed a replies to it?
I know eventually that it stops and says “see more replies” but that could still make comment sections harder to navigate anyway, couldn't it?
I would support if you couldn't reply to it
(I'm sorry if this point has already been made)

Also, it would be helpful to have replies bc of the comment character limit

What if, even if there was a limit, someone just spammed a replies to it?True, but we'd still be able to see other comments, right? And I think the option to turn on/off the comment to the pinned comment would be good however, who would be the one to be able to do that? The project owner, or the comment poster? Also, should the one who posted the comment receive a notification if their comment gets pinned?

Hi everyone,
I would like to suggest a highly requested and useful feature for project creators and studio managers: the ability to pin a comment to the top of the comment section.
The Problem
Currently, important messages from the creator—such as game instructions, updates, credits, frequently asked questions (FAQs), or event announcements—quickly get buried under a flood of new comments. If a creator wants people to see an important notice, they have to constantly re-type it or paste it into the project description, which has limited space and formatting.
The Proposal
I propose adding a “Pin Comment” option for project creators (on their own projects) and studio hosts/managers (within their studios).
How it works: Next to the “Delete” or “Report” button on a comment, creators will see a “Pin” icon.
The Result: The pinned comment will move to the very top of the comment section, highlighted with a distinct background color or a small pin icon, remaining there regardless of how many new comments are posted.
Limit: To keep things clean, creators can pin a maximum of 1 or 2 comments at a time.
Why this would be a great addition:
Better Communication: Creators can immediately address common questions (e.g., “How to save progress?” or “When is the next update?”) right where people are typing.
Community Highlights: It allows creators to pin a very helpful review, a high score shoutout, or constructive feedback from another Scratcher to show appreciation.
Studio Moderation: Studio managers can pin active rules or the current theme of the studio so every participant sees it first.
What do you think about this feature? Would it help you manage your comment sections better? Let's discuss!

This is a good idea. It solves many problems.
