[DORKBAGS] is an upcoming animated sitcom webseries created and directed by internet artist HammyXD a.k.a UncleHammy a.k.a me

This show follows six teenage boys (who are all based off of real people btw) doing stupid teenage boy things and getting into stupid teenage boy situations. Follow the misadventures of these boys as they eat an unholy amount of disgusting food for arcade tickets, get lost in the middle of the woods looking for a bike that was angrily thrown into a ravine for no reason, disturb the peace of an emergency room after one disfigures his body trying to do a backflip, and best of all, GET ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ACCOMPLISHED!!!

They all live in a fictional town called Podunk located somewhere in the midwest. It’s typically always cloudy. The majority of the show is probably going to take place in an arcade/hangout place called Jasper's. Some episodes may be in a different part of town.

The genre of this show is “situational comedy” or “sitcom.” The writing and humor is just anything I find funny thrown into a blender and then drizzled over spaghetti. I would say it’s probably inspired mostly by shows like Parks and Recreation but also stuff like TaWoG and many other things. So the writing is just a big mix of different humor, like most sitcoms.

It’s rated PG. I guess it is kinda safe for kids, but probably not to the interest of anyone under 13 (or even 14). There is no vulgar language. Maybe some mild, but mostly just like cleaner replacement words lol (frick, dang, etc.)

Episode 1: “dudes at an arcade” is currently in production. Everything has been pretty messy.

Jett, Roy, and Leo’s lines have been submitted. Waiting for Austin to submit his and I’m going to help Allen’s VA record his.

The three characters that have lines recorded and submitted have their own plot line, so I am already animating their scenes… extremely out of order

I have one shot of scene 10 animated and have started storyboarding scene 8.

I wonder if I put indie in the title would more people click on it?

Ima be real. I dont want this show to be lumped in with all the other indie animated shows. No hate! I love indie shows! But this is not meant to be one of those. Just a dum silly little webseries I wanted to make for funsies, ya know?
