May I ask how we start to get known on here? I'd really like for people to see my projects.

Hello! And welcome to Scratch! If you'd like to get more views on your projects, here's some stuff you can do:

• Make a really nice and catchy thumbnail, that can attract a lot of clicks.
  
• Add your projects to a bunch of studios, the more studios you add them too, the more views you'll get.
  
• Post your projects in the Show and Tell forum or add the project to your signature (I can help you with that if you'd like)
  

Hello new scratcher!

If you ever want your post to be on top say “Bump” only after your post is off the front page or after 24 hours pass.

My projects don't get good views. We are the same. (Also some of my projects has lots of views since I advertised them)

Well, unfortunately, the only non TOS breaking way to get popular is posting on studios or by doing SDS(Scratch design studios). On this platform, it's hard it is hard to get more than 100 views since scratch prioritizing creating and not finding games of your choice that aren't already popular.

popularity are NOT everything on here, but they're a plus.
here's the best ways I've found:

1. making good projects. QUALITY OVER QUALITY!
   
2. making friends hanging out in chatrooms (e.g Grifftopia chat)
   
3. adding your quality projects to studios
   

that's the 1st 3 that come to mind

Step 1. Make good projects

Step 2. Add the good projects to many relevant studios

Step 3. Hopefully you get views!

they all greeted you so i am too but i do different things for telling
#1 if you press your PFP on your profile itll have a “Change” button on it. you can take a photo of something (not yourself though or itll get reset) or use a picture via a file (right click it or hold it) then press the “Save to Photos” or “Save as…” button and you can change it

#2 beware of people who are rather just pip-brained
when you turn into a scratcher they can see your post and say “You can only post here if your a New Scratcher.” meanwhile they have like 15.3K posts so if it happens just tell them exactly “pip-brained” and thats it

#3 when your a new scratcher, you have a few limitations. those are:
you cant access Cloud Variables (the Scratch online project stuff).
the 60 second rule in the forums is increased to the 120 second rule for New Scratchers.
when you make a new account, you cant use the forums for 5 days but you can still look and view the forums.

#4 look into the TIRaP (Things I'm Reading and Playing) forum and see if theres any topics that catch your eye (theres ROBLOX ones, deltarune ones, theres even a Minecraft one in the TIMaC (Things I'm Making and Creating) forum lol
