i doubt this'll be that popular since most people don't keep arthropods but whatever

invertebrate keeping is the keeping of pet invertebrates(insects, spiders, most things people would probably burn their house down if they found them, etc.). some good starter species are madagascar hissing cockroaches and jumping spiders, however many invertebrates are quite easy to keep!

feel free to help people and stuff, i'm probably gonna redo this later

i don't know if this is a good fit for things i am making and creating, but i am assuming it is because the act of invertebrate keeping is often called a hobby, and you make enclosures for invertebrates usually so i think its fine

I found a random slug in a drain pipe once. I gave it to my cousin without telling him it was a fertilized female and now he has 50 or so eggs that are set to hatch around the 15th. idk if this is the forum for that but that's my personal experience with invertebrates and pets in general. if I can i'll try and get a picture of her to show

you can crush/freeze the eggs to prevent them from hatching i think, or atleast thats what i remember from keeping snails as pets

currently working on a cricket bin for breeding crickets for my pet jumping spider

i got some crickets from petco (which i personally wouldn't reccomend, but it was the fastest way to get crickets since all the other crickets took weeks to ship) and i fed one to my jumping spider

i haven't finished the cricket bin yet, so i'm keeping the crickets temporarily in a small critter keeper

i'm planning to keep the crickets outside to prevent the smell

hey! I have a tarantula, its name is lizard (very fitting, ay?)

upgraded my cricket setup to be larger so i can breed them maybe

i'm keeping them in the greenhouse so theres a risk of parasites/mold but i dont want to keep them inside since i heard crickets are smelly

edit: there was mold and it killed all of them. i'm keeping dubias from now on

why do dubia roaches have to be so cute i feel bad for feeding them to my spider
