any topic created without the OP’s permission is considered a duplicate. the topics not lagging and just to update the OP is not a reason. there are multiple posts where the OP is inactive and are about scratch 2.0, still no one can make a new topic (unless the Scratch Team gives you permission)
just opened the topic on my phone and its a bit laggy I feel we'd be better off stoping the problem early before its noticable on higher end devices
that’s probably due to the huge quote. may I ask you which phone you are currently using? even 1000 page topics do not lag on my phone or laptop.

As someone who's done a good bit of 1.8 pvp, I can tell you that anyone who thinks pvp is just clicking fast hasn't looked into it too well.

You have to click fast AND spam the W and sprint keys, but you have to do it in a specific order otherwise you'll mess up your combo. Oh, and if you're standing a single block higher than your opponent, you're dead meat.

I would know because I broke the keycap of the W key on the laptops I did PvP on.

I asked the current topic host about permission about continuing on a new topic and I made a Questions About Scratch post for it. I can try making a new topic once the election counts as being over and some sort of confirmation/permission can be gotten.

(In case anyone doesn't know by now, there's an election for the current host going on, so you can vote for anyone to be the new forum host. I'm currently the leading candidate so I'm trying to see if a forum continuation can be made without it counting as a duplicate.)

i really want to be owner of the new topic but i know i wont actually update the op or the title often

i'm making a giant brown mushroom farm on bedrock, does anyone know how to get the cap out of the way so a new mushroom can be planted? blocks cant be placed on the first block above the cap, or it wont grow next time, but they can be placed directly next to the cap, just not in the little rounded corners. it cant be placed under the cap or it will interfere with how im getting the stem.
