User Deletions

A user can delete their account. All they need to do is go to their account settings and request a deletion. If they log in within the next 48 hours, their account won't be deleted. If they log in after 48 hours of requesting it, there will be no option to recover it afterward. There may be a chance of recovering 48 hours after being deleted, but I am not 100% sure.

Scratch Team Deletions

If your account got deleted for breaking the community guidelines, there may still be a chance to recover it. Unlike what many people think, a scratch team deletion is not permanent. It can be called a soft deletion, and that's when it seems like it's deleted to the user, but the scratch team still has the data in their servers. They could recover it if you appeal, but in serious cases, they may delete the data entirely. It also may be lost because of them clearing the cache of their servers to save space. Even if they do, they may have a backup that they could use to recover your account. If your account gets deleted, don't worry, as it can be fixed as long as you appeal.
EDIT: I also want to mention a GDPR erasure. It basically just wipes your account more than a usual deletion.

I am not 100% sure of this, so if I got something wrong, please tell me. Also, please don't say this whole post is inaccurate, only if you have solid proof of that, and don't base it on what everyone else is saying.
