Minecraft Topic III: My mom says it's nice!
more sites: curseforge (both under minecraft AND minecraft bedrock), planetminecraftMcpedl offers free mods for bedrock, and probably tons of other websites do that tooBedrock mods are mostly obtained via the marketplace, and none of them focus on bugfixing. Java has tens of thousands of mods that you can get for free that include things that fix bugs and things that fix lag.Same for bedrock thoughI have both java and bedrock and both have their flawsat least on java you can add mods to fix it for free
lagva and bugrock
The marketplace is just meant to be an easier way of downloading mods on consoles which is a pain to do normally

My problem with bedrock is that the marketplace seems to exist solely to make money and some of the maps are WAAAY overpriced, like how some special collaboration maps are upwards of $7-10. Bedrock is nice though because it has cross platform play which Java does not so I can play with friends on console or mobile.I can play Java Edition on my phone
(through an emulator which overheats my phone but still)

The sad thing is I don't think there is any way to download curseforge or any other mods like that on console.

True but most users won't have access to this or it won't be practicalMy problem with bedrock is that the marketplace seems to exist solely to make money and some of the maps are WAAAY overpriced, like how some special collaboration maps are upwards of $7-10. My favorite command is /camera (FNAF, here I come), but I discovered /damage recently and I love it!

*lots of arguing about whether java or bedrock is better*I like Java better because of the extra features, better performance, the ability to go back to earlier versions, the more advanced fighting system, and the ability to add things like shaders without needing to have that ONE SPECIFIC TYPE OF GRAPHICS CHIP even though my computer can run it fine without needing that exact chip. Also because it's generally easier to modify with things outside the marketplace than bedrock. I understand that bedrock is great because of combatibility between playing systems but if you can get both on the same computer I really think java would be better unless you want to pay money for some official DLCs (a lot of them need money, but they're easier to put into minecraft and are more secure than modding), you want to use Bedrock's special server options, you want to play with people on different systems, and if you want something that's a little less intensive on your computer. Though, I like Java more because if you can get to the right places, there are some really fun mods you there. It also has extra world making options, the historical versions being kept, and additional settings and stuff.

I’m glad ppl are still into Minecraft. I thought maybe it wasn’t really that popular here on scratch so it’s nice that I’m wrong.
